Bon Jovi - Forever

just look at the song names. tell me this is a good album.

Julia Holter - Something in the Room She Moves
70

this is an album you need to be enveloped by, just lay down and get embraced by the harmonies and vocals. the ambient parts of this album are beautiful (oceans being my favorite track) and her vocals glide over the songs in a way i can only describe as walking on water.

the use of woodwinds is something that strikes me as a highlight in this album, they're probably my favorite instrumentals used (especially as an ex-flute player) but yeah this is really impressive from julia holter. it makes ... read more

WILLOW - empathogen
70

i enjoyed myself definetly, it was odd for willow though, i knew about the singles and the jon batiste feature interested me, i am pleasantly surprised, and i want her to improve even more as time goes on

Madvillain - Madvillainy
90

just a blend of beautiful sounds, they aren't songs, they feel like pure sounds put together to make art

Quadeca - SCRAPYARD
90

the production is just SO MAJESTIC

edit: im coming back to this mixtape because i've been listening to being yourself constantly and it's my current song of the year, and also i don't think my one-line reviews provide any depth of the music and what i like in my music.

on a little relisten i think this hits harder now i know what to expect. i can digest it a lot easier. being yourself is still my favourite song and a la carte is still my least favourite. i really don't ... read more

RAYE - Genesis.

raye has become a gay icon in recent years, her power in facing adversity is admirable, and genesis is just high art that should be put in a museum

PRIDE DAY TWO

this album is just fine. i think it's trying to be more ambient than it's predecessors but arca doesn't really let go of the production of things like kick i or ii. she does do ambient really well in kick iiiii though, if you were interested in her more ambient works

PRIDE DAY ONE

i do think ayesha erotica is truly one of the weirdest figures in the music industry, i don't think anyone knows her story, and maybe that's a good thing

Stan Getz & JoΓ£o Gilberto - Getz/Gilberto
90

i just had to like zone out and vibe and stuff

ian - Valedictorian (Deluxe)

actually better than the original, which is the lowest bar ever

PinkPantheress - Turn it up
50

it's...fine? a bit boring for her though

Knocked Loose - You Won't Go Before You're Supposed To
80

THE LYRICS ON THIS ARE AMAZING HOLY FUCK

anyway yeah this is not overrated at all i'm surprised it went down on user rating since its release, this is the metal album of the year so far

Tinashe - Nasty
90

is somebody gonna match my freak

Camila Cabello - HE KNOWS
40

i am not excited let's just say that

Camila Cabello - I LUV IT
20

ihateitihateitihateitihateitihateit

Kanye West - My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy
70

i get the hype. the vocal effects annoy me a lot on this album though

Vince Staples - Big Fish Theory
80

yeah right is literally just a perfect song. it's 4 talented people coming together to make a masterpiece

Shygirl - ALIAS
70

i didn't know shygirl invented being british
