What an emotional mess of an album this is, it’s by far the bands most emotional album. I’m gonna be honest, I cried at the end of this album when I first heard it. It’s very very rare for me to cry. First impressions and I think this is great. I kinda expected him to go in this direction considering he was already heading this way when he made The Slow Rush (which I love). As much as his psych rock stuff is my favorite, this is certainly really good, wonderful production and really gives you a visual/feeling similar to the songs title.
New mixes are great, the originals were very muddy and the new ones definitely clean things up so you can hear everything more clearly. Unfortunately the master is still very loud and compressed though (just as much as the original). but I'd still say this is the best version of the album now
I like the space rock vibes, definitely kinda different from what they did in the past and I'm excited.
It's a crime that this was taken off streaming. It used to be one of my favorite songs ever, amazing b-side from an amazing album.
