bit of a random statement but i had no idea the previous drummer for this band plays for a local band i really really like wtf (shoutout killing me softly)

my stepdad loves this band, it was a rather local one at that, and he has a signed plaque of them along with their eps and this album inside it for one of his birthdays (i think it was one of his birthdays?) and eventually gave his cds to me since he was clearing out older stuff and stumbled across them. i got 'The Day After' and this album from him.

very beautiful metalcore album, and smoothly mixed at that. would highly recommend to give a listen

from the singles he put out i didnt expect too highly of the album: i just thought babygirl was not a great track to put out and felt more of a ILDMLFY scrap, war over land had a good instrumental but peggy did not fit it whatsoever, and i didnt really listen to the yen single but i thought this was an improvement when listening to it on the album
