Madonna will always be the biggest female pop influence, and that's undeniable. Her legacy and longevity are the blueprint for any artist, new or old. Confessions on a Dancefloor was already perfect, but somehow she managed to improve it even more. Madonna is the artist of the millennium.

Doja successfully adapted to the new genre she was experimenting with. Her vocals are beautiful on this project, and the compositions are equally beautiful. But, at all, a very repetitive album. She didn't managed to make it sound versatile.

I have a lot of affection for this album probably because it was released on my birthday but overall it received an unnecessary hate train just for being by Melanie.
