Wow. Her voice seems to come from a place of self-assuredness and self confidence. Every word rings like it's been studied by her for a lifetime. Even though it's a debut she comes off like someone who confidently knows what and how she feels and how to express it. It's a really strong album and I feel like that's the best way to describe. I can't believe I haven't heard about this album until now, I should have listened earlier. I love it.
Let's make another baby! Going to see him in concert soon, actually can't wait. This album is beautiful and inspiring and raw. It's gives me so much to look forward to: fatherhood. But also so much to be happy about: my connections with others and the effort my father put in to take care of me.
