this album made me a fan of electronic music (and touching grass)

(Update 1/12/25) This album over the past year has had a huge impact on my life and has helped me get through a lot and I'm back to ramble about that even though nobody will read it! On my first listen I didn't really ... read more
absolutely insane that the same band that made London Calling made this steaming pile of shit. I want to rip my fucking ears out and stomp on them and throw them in hydrochloric acid.
Made entirely for Stranger Things believe it or not
Favorite Song: Master of Puppets
Least Favorite Song: The Thing That Should Not Be
Rock the Casbah is one of the best rock songs of all time, Should I Stay or Should I Go is their big mainstream hit, and Straight to Hell is an underrated masterpiece, but the rest of this album is sadly pretty forgettable. I stil think there's some enjoyable and catchy songs in there but they just aren't up to the standard you'd get from some of their other projects. Their previous albums like London Calling and Sandinista had much better and more unique instrumentation, and ... read more
One of the first albums I got on vinyl. More technical then Metallica's other albums. lots of solos and complex riffs. One is Metallica's best song in my opinion, I don't really think anything else stands a chance in changing my opinion on that. My only real issue with this project is that it's filled to the brim with long instrumental only sections, which is not exactly my thing, some people might like that, but it kinda bores me.

The first band that I can recall liking when I was a kid, absolutely amazing album. The title track, London Calling is easily one of the best songs i've ever heard before
Favorite Songs: London Calling, Clampdown, Lost in the Supermarket, Train in Vain, Hateful, Wrong 'em Boyo, I'm Not Down, Spanish Bombs, Death or Glory
sounds like unfinished stratosphere demos
Favorite Song: Moon In Aries
Least Favorite Song: Darby
this is my favorite thing kanye has been a part of
Favorite Song: Reborn

Crazy that this guy evolved into one of my favorite artists, because this is fucking terrible. This is corny as fuck, the vocals are ASS, the rapping is terrible, and I want to tear my ears out and stomp on them and throw them in hydrochloric acid after listening to this shit. I used to love Man on my Left Shoulder, Red Dot, and Uh Huh! when this album first came out, I still like Man on my Left Shoulder a little bit but the rest of this album is pretty terrible and not at all worth a listen ... read more
Covers of old rap songs with added rock/metal elements, which actually works really well. Zack's voice is perfect for this, and the instruments are on point of course, there's not a single member of this band that hasn't absolutely mastered their instrument. My favorite was My Eyes, because I think Zack's voice fits really well on a hardcore punk kind of song, but Maggies Farm, I'm Housin, and Microphone Fiend are all great. Decent cover album
really solid project and a turning point in Quadeca's growth as an artist. The production on the product is really impressive, and you can see a lot of similarities in his style of production now compared to this album. one big downside though is that there's a lot of corny lyrics and rapping that really drags this project down. This is also Quadeca's big turn from corny youtube rapper to actual artist with a lot of potential as both a producer, and songwriter
This is better than that mid Kanye album. This production is insanely impressive. I really like the weird vocal melodies and effects. I love the noisy production on PRETTY PRIVILEGE, and the ethereal, art pop production on songs like U DON'T KNOW ME LIKE THAT. Quadeca's evolution as an artist is insane, he went from a corny YouTube rapper (Which I actually used to watch like 6 years ago), to a fully formed experimental hip hop / folktronica / art pop artist
