A someone who doesn't really care for her voice, I found this album to be pretty good, I think I would've loved this album if I liked her voice. It's solid work, the production is amazing, and "Sports Car" and "Revolving Door" are both amazing tracks. For me there's a few amazing songs, mainly just mid songs, but a few massive disappointments.

This was a good album! First off all, the obvious, what a voice, the vocalist of her generation, possibly the greatest vocalist of all time. A lot of these songs sounded similar which I didn't really enjoy, but one thing I can say I enjoyed about this album is that it helps to appreciate her later work, because wow, she evolved so much. What a legend.

What an amazing debut album from Brandy! The first four songs are so fucking good, I wasn't a big fan of the "Dedicate" interludes, but I decided to include them as one single track (6.3). Her voice is sooooo cool, and to be able to sing like that and write the songs she's writing, at 15 (!!) is insane! She's such a legend.
Favourites:
1. I Wanna Be Down
2. Best Friend
3. Baby

An amazing follow up to "Bella Donna" but "The Wild Heart" is probably my least favourite of her first three albums. I think the highs are higher on here than on any other album from hers in the eighties, but there are quite a few lows, including the very slow tracks here, and the nothing burger's like "Enchanted".
Favourites:
1. Wild Heart
2. Stand Back
3. Nothing Ever Changes
Least Favourites:
8. I Will Run to You
9. Enchanted
10. Beauty and the Beast.
Another classic by Stevie. Definitely her most "eighties" album in my opinion, it is so lush. I think "Rooms on Fire" is one of the greatest songs of all time, it is perfect, and as ever, her songwriting is on point, even though there are a few tracks where she doesn't having writing credits. The stories she is able to tell in "Alice", "Juliet", and "Doing the Best I Can" are incredible, especially the former. I am also so pleased to see ... read more
Oh Godlela, after falling inlove with "Idea 1" and listening to "Waitin" and "Frontline", I have completely bought into the hype. She is so talented, and man, what a voice. She deserves way more attention, and I hope with this new era she can get it. Each track as decent to god tier.
Favourites:
1. Keep It Cool
2. Send Me Out
3. Floor Show

Oh I loved this, while it's amazing to see how much she's evolved since, this is an amazing debut album. It started off so well, then there were two songs that I didn't love, but it picked back up. In my opinion she started with the best song off of the album, and ended with the second best. Just an awesome album, lots of replay value. "Nuclear Seasons" is one of her best tracks, even to this day. But yeah, she's evolved so much, from this to "How I'm ... read more
It's a great album, what can I say? It is nowhere near their best but it is a good send off (even if there is sparse Christine involvement). Had eight or so songs been cut from it, this would've been one of their best albums. The strengths of this album are Lindsey's vocals and guitar work, and Stevie's lyrics which are ever-incredible. The biggest tragedy of the album is what they did to "Smile at You" which was genuinely legendary on the "Mirage Album", ... read more
Wow! What an album. The track run from "What Have You Done For Me Lately" to "When I Think Of You" is incredible. The one quip I have with the album is the last track which I did not enjoy, an almost skipless album for me. Anyways, the start of a run of legendary albums for Janet, the superior Jackson sibling.
Favourite Tracks: When I Think of You, You Can Be Mine, What Have You Done For Me Lately, and The Pleasure Principle

This is a good album!! While, for me, it didn't live up to the hype I had seen, it is still a good album. Unfortunately I think the best two songs are the first two tracks, "Hung Up" is one of her best tracks, and one of the best songs of the 21st century. Unfortunately I think on some of the songs, it is the production that saves it for me, Price did an amazing job, and Madonna's vision of the soundscape is spectacular. I love how the tracks are interconnected. I liked all ... read more
I think it will grow on me, my first listen it was probably gonna be a 7/10, but it's kind of catchy. I think the lyrics are funny and I'm glad people are pissed off, it's funny to see people upset.
Edit: The video is fire, and it's really growing on me. +5
Edit: Idk it's really grown on me, and I love the lyrics. Sure, is it near her best? Well, no. The lyrics are silly, and it sounds carelessly put together (the point). It's a 10.
What a fucking album omg. Their best besides Rumours tbh. Lindsey absolutely popped off, "Big Love", "Caroline", and "Tango in the Night" are absofuckinlutely some of the best songs ever made, Christine also popped off with "Everywhere", and "Little Lies", and despite the lack of Stevie (who's my favourite member), she still manages to contribute one all-timer song, "Seven Wonders", as well as a banger follow up to ... read more
Such an underrated album, each song is good to legendary. I think these are some of Stevie's best songs, as well as Christine's. Such a vibey album, but not exactly cohesive, well mostly cohesive but some pivots like Nicks' dark, vengeful, and petty "Straight Back", and her country-pop "That's Alright", appearing on an upbeat, and pop album, respectively. PS. Gypsy is one of the best songs ever created.
My least favourite of Lorde's albums, but that doesn't mean this album isn't simply amazing. This is the perfect summer album, and it's so peaceful and makes you feel seen and enlightened. This is definitely my favourite season-specific album, there's no better album to listen to in the summer.
My favourites off of this album are "The Path", "Solar Power", "Stoned at the Nail Salon", "Fallen Fruit", "Oceanic Feeling", ... read more
My third favourite album from Lorde, it is insane that this was her first album, and that it was made by a literal child. Lorde is a truly special artist, and her growth since then has been insane.
My favourite songs from this album are "Tennis Court", "400 Lux", "Ribs", "Buzzcut Season", "Team", and "A World Alone". They're all-time greats, especially "Ribs", "Buzzcut Season", and "Team".
Lorde's second best album, "Virgin" is truly special. It's a harrowing album, it's haunting, mystical, raw, vulnerable, but harrowing is the best word for it. There are multiple career highlights on this album, and I love how it incorporates elements from each of her albums. It has the longing and spare production of "Pure Heroine", the hedonism and experimentalism of "Melodrama", and the existentialism and increasingly improved vocals of "Solar ... read more
One of the greatest albums of all time. This album is just perfect, not one bad song, an incredible batch of songs. I think the most special thing about Lorde is the fact that the music she makes and lyrics she writes feels so perfect for the time of life she wrote it, and as you age, it resonates with you more and more. She's such a special artist.
