Just rating the anthology tracks:
Another great set of songs for Taylor! TTPD is such an ambitious album, and I think she executed it well! There are a few misses like "Robin" and "The Manuscript", but they aren't bad tracks, just nothing tracks.
Note: This rating includes just the 3am tracks + the other bonus tracks including "Karma" (Remix), "Hits Different", "Snow on the Beach" (More Lana), and "You're Losing Me".
This only gets a lower score than the OG edition because of the atrocity that is the "Karma" remix.
Such mixed feelings with this album, when I first heard it when it came out I thought it was mid and a few weeks I listened again and thought it was the best thing I had ever listened to, now I think it falls somewhere in the middle of that.
Taylor really made two masterpieces back to back and it's so impressive. Both get a score of 94 from me, but "Folklore" is slightly better in my opinion, but "Evermore" has I think more 100's from me "Champagne Problems", "Gold Rush", "Tis The Damn Season", "Tolerate It", "Ivy", "Evermore", and "Right Where You Left Me" versus "The 1", "Cardigan", "Exile", ... read more
Easily her best album, it's just all so amazing. Even the worst song (Epiphany) is still great. I hope she makes more music like this and Evermore.
On par with "Reputation" in terms of score, but the opposite sonically. It features some of my absolute favourites of hers including "Lover", "I Think He Knows", "Paper Rings" and "Afterglow".
Such a great album, probably her first without a bad song. It features some of her biggest hits, and some of her fan favourites. A true sonic turn for a legendary artist.
Some of the tracks are good, even amazing, but man, this album has some pretty big lows that ruin it. "CANCELLED!", "Eldest Daughter", "Wish List", "Honey", and "Actually Romantic" are pretty mid to bad. Still, "The Fate of Ophelia", "Opalite", and especially "Ruin the Friendship" are all amazing tracks, some of her best. But man, this album, for a lot of it, was a massive artistic retreat.
Such a strange album, it undoubtedly has some of her best tracks and some of her worst; "End Game", "Don't Blame Me", "So It Goes", "Getaway Car", "King of My Heart", and "New Years Day" are some of her best, "Ready for It?", "Look What You Made Me Do", "Dancing With Our Hands Tied", "Dress" and "Call It What You Want" are great too, but man.. "Delicate", "This Is ... read more
Her magnum opus up to the point of it's release (and until "Folklore"), this is an almost perfect album, a pop masterpiece. It features some of her best songs of all time, some of my favourite songs of all time, some of the best songs of all time, and some of the most recognizable songs of all time. "Style", "Wildest Dreams", and "Clean" are some of the greatest songs ever, emphasis on "Style". The weakest tracks are "Bad Blood" ... read more
Such an overhated record, it is definitely better than "The Anthology". This album features undoubtedly her best lyricism since "Evermore", and while it is not a magnum opus of any sorts, it is a great album with many great tracks, and a few stinkers like "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart" and "I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can)".
At the time of its release this was 100% the best of her albums, it is so well written. All tracks are good to one of her best, besides "Dear John" which really sinks this ranking. "Enchanted" and "Long Live" are some of her best tracks.
A great sophomore, it has some of her best songs like "Love Story", "Fearless", "You Belong With Me", and "Forever & Always", but other than those songs and few others most of it is very much of the same country-pop, so it's a bit tiring at that point.
The "Brighter Days Ahead" tracks breathe new life into this album, with each song being perfect in my opinion, with "Dandelion", "Twilight Zone", and "Warm" being true standouts. "Dandelion" was a return to Trapiana, "Twilight Zone" was like a continuation of the masterpiece that is "We Can't Be Friends", and "Warm" is a track that just you can chill to and feel happy. Ariana <3
Definitely her album with her best lyricism and it features masterpieces like "Intro (End of the World)", "Supernatural", "Yes, And?" and "We Can't Be Friends (Wait For Your Love)", but there are some misses like "I Wish I Hated You", as well as "Ordinary Things".
Such a groovy and underappreciated album from Ariana, it might be her best. The album is cheeky, sensual, and a whole lot of fun. I'm sick that y'all paid her dust with this because you wanted RnBiana for so long and you finally got her but you weren't pleased. Real ones got "Positions" when it first came out.
One of her best (again), honestly, since "My Everything" each of her albums have been masterpieces, and "Thank U, Next" might be the most iconic of them, featuring her two biggest hits.
One of her best albums, this album is so special and features some of her most beautiful lyricism, experimental production, and meaningful songs. One of, if not her best.
One of her best albums, the tracks are so grand, and this is just the standard edition, with the edition of "Touch It" and "Knew Better / Forever Boy" I think this rating would be even higher. Legend.
In my opinion, definitely a step up from her debut album, but I will say this album is more carried by it's hits, specifically "One Last Time", "Break Free" and "Love Me Harder". Among the album tracks I also loved "Why Try", and to a lesser extent "My Everything".
