Champaign & vacay was the most disappointing experience I’ve ever had WHERE IS THE FLOCKA VERSE
You’re telling me this was made by the same guy who made not like us⁉️ unbelievable
Kevin Shields hyperfixates on making his jazzmaster sound like a vacuum cleaner and makes one of the greatest albums of all time
More consistent than their previous album and sets the blueprint of some aspects that are perfected on Jane Doe, with some killer riffs, breakdowns, and screams.
I really like the first track and the part that speeds up. Dead is also really good. This sounds a lot more like the ideal Converge album than their debut.
You can sort of see their potential in this album. There are some solid riffs, but overall kinda mediocre and the production is pretty bad. I'm not a huge fan of the vocals on this album, probably just because I've been spoiled by Converge's later albums.
Has some great songs like Drake Era and The 27 Club but there’s a solid amount of filler and the track list is very bloated
