this album is mediocre at best.
you can’t constantly tease an album, release something that makes your listeners expect something like your last masterpiece, constantly delay it, and when it finally releases, it’s boring.
i’m not saying it’s awful. if any other artist released this, hell, if sza released this when she said she would the first time, instead of leaving a nearly 3 year gap between the first single-album, i probably would’ve loved it.
to go from tyler’s old, loud and offensive music to this is absolutely insane. this album was so heartfelt and genuine.
best tracks: garden shed, glitter, where this flower blooms
worst tracks: n/a
even with two hour length, it leaves me wanting more. the original was iconic enough, but these vault tracks where insane. this girl managed to have a 10 minute song absolutely destroying some dude, and it wasn’t boring? my only complaint is those songs where it’s clearly country, but she sings it in her normal voice. i would’ve liked it better if she brought out that “yee yee” attitude. like “i bet you think about me” could’ve been so much more..
oh that’s not….
i should’ve listened when people said this was in inspired and boring. this was so underwhelming. i don't even think macs vocals could've saved this.
these two did absolutely amazing. while it’s not her best, it’s still amazing. very fun listen.
i already loved the standard version. it means everything to me. its the first album i ever heard that made me dissect every detail. it made me really listen. i payed attention to every background vocal, piano note, and lyrical detail. i know not the deepest album, but something just clicked for me.
then out of nowhere, tyler drops dogtooth. my favorite tyler album was getting more tracks. theres no words to describe my excitement. i was in shock. all week, i've been listening to this album ... read more
trey parker and matt stone are so talented. they’re masters of making you laugh through music. all of these songs are so memorable, and get stuck in your head for weeks. a lot of old south park content ages poorly, but this is an exception.
oh my god.. jack play that back
BANGER AFTER BANGER. i like lizzo’s newer releases, but i LOVE this. if she had more music like this i’d be her #1 fan.
this is one of those albums we’re you’re really at the edge of your seat. i skipped the skits on my first listen, just because i wanted to mindless listen to good music. not take any lyrics into account. when i had my first REAL listen, i was blown away. i was absolutely hooked. and on that last skit?? ive never had an album make my stomach drop like that.
