The way this song builds and builds and builds is so beautiful to see.

The best song from the new BCNR album for me, incredible ending
One of the favourite songs to come back to this summer so shoutout Dev type stuff
Grew on me as one of the most beautiful songs of the year, the last two minutes are complete singer-songwriter perfection.
One of the most underrated rappers out right now. Reaching new levels of experimentation.
Warbrained's rocking instrumentation and distortion is what makes quannnic such a talented producer and songwriter. Although some tracks are demanding in length and hard to differentiate, it's still banger after banger with incredibly harsh but beautiful guitar work, a calm lo-fi and emo vibe to the vocals and overall just a consistently great experience.
Favourite songs : Prunesnail and Observer.
Least favourite : Heavensafe.
Live Laugh Love doesn't completely translate for me, the first half sounds quite muddy and although the second half brings better flows and production, I'm overall left wanting more.
Favourite songs : exhaust and static.
Least favourite : gsw vs sac.
EDIT (69-72) Took me a while to adapt to this style of rap honestly, but now I love how calming Live Laugh Love is.
Jane Remover nosedives into full on rage. It's a pretty fun mixtape and obviously not meant to be taken too seriously but overall it's pretty hard to find some diversity in this project.
Favourite songs : Showtime and Heart of steel.
Least favourite : Lucky strike.
Overall a really cozy album with great instrumentation. The sax and drums are the main standouts here. The first three tracks make me feel like I'm smoking up in an 80s Japanese fancy bar and although the album becomes more stripped back and less exciting near the end, I still loved a good bunch of this. Great album.
Favourite songs : ミー子のコンサート and 忘れる女.
Least favourite : ステイウィズミー.
The most energetic, entertaining, pure and banging album of 2025, but hidden under all of this intense and hyper energy is also an incredibly vulnerable and personal album with the necessary themes of growing up, being yourself, battling the dim moments of life and overall the duo reflecting on the path they went on to be where they are now, with the last track effectively working as the duo's thank you letter to whom it may concern. It really doesn't get any more genuine than that. ... read more
The reason why I loved Absolutely so much was because how different and organic it sounded, it felt like a new path of potential in R&B.
Now in Baby, Dijon upps his lyrical content, keeps the passionate vocal delivery and even messes with our brain with some glitchy ear candy mixed into the incredible, lo-fi instrumentals. An overall lovely celebration of the birth of Dijon's child and the love he has for his wife. A little bit rough around the edges sometimes but that doesn't ... read more
Ninajirachi shows what is capable in music with just a computer at your disposal. This is what you get when you mix early 2010s EDM with Gen Z pop. One of the most appealing electronic albums of the year.
Favourite songs : Delete, Fuck My Computer and iPod Touch.
Least favourite : CSIRAC.
Undeniably fire. Just overall really nice production that is surprisingly inventive and catchy. Yeat's unique flow and delivery is what separates him from the rest, paired with this futuristic sound and what you have is one of the best Trap projects of 2025.
Favourite songs : PUT IT ONG and LOCO.
Least favourite : COMË N GO.
