This is definitely a well done conclusion to Mac Miller's legacy and its beautiful. It feels like a pure sequel to Swimming but it explores a more relaxed and laid back character of Mac Miller. The album isn't overdone and knows what it has to do to keep up that mood throughout the whole listening experience. I'd say this is on par with Swimming but if I had to listen to an album before going to sleep, I think Circles takes the cake here
The very unexpected debut from ROSE. And to be completely honest, I came in with the lowest of low expectations knowing that APT was a part of the album. Yes, I'm an APT hater and that's the one song that has ruined me mentally with the melody and catchy beat being embedded in my head. Besides that, I'd say that this album was more than my expectations with it being very low of course. From being a huge K-pop sensation, I was expecting the generic K-pop formula you'd hear ... read more
One of the best movies I've seen in a long time with such a beautiful soundtrack
Before I begin my rant on this, I just wanna point out how big of an eyesore this album cover is. It's genuinely the most disrespectful thing you could do to conclude someone's legacy. It's so bad that it may be the worst album cover I've ever seen. With that finally out of the way, this shouldn't have been made in the first place. Legends Never Die should have been the final album and its one of his best albums period. This genuinely has no soul into it and is for the ... read more
MUSTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This genuinely feels like an afterparty from the beef and a beautiful tribute to the west coast. The album is amazing and never in a million years did I expect Kendrick to randomly drop this year. With that being said, every track is such a fun listen and is prolly the most fun I've had listening to an album this year. The writing on GNX feels so vulnerable and is prolly Kendrick's most vulnerable ever since the TPAB and GKMC era. ... read more
The Smile comes back with a 2nd album this year and in my opinion, it feels like they went back to their debut sound in a somewhat odd way. The ambient mood is still present while delivering some beautiful cuts here and there. However, as an overall album, its alright at best for me.
The first Linkin Park album with their new frontman, Emily Armstrong. Besides that 16 second scream on Heavy is the Crown, I wasn't so impressed with this project overall. For a new singer, Emily Armstrong quite delivered with her performance overall. She does have a killer voice tho. However, the production on this feels so flat and dull. Genuinely such a snooze fest with only there being a few memorable moments. All I can say is that they prolly will never make another great album ever ... read more
This genuinely exceeds the expectations of an anime movie soundtrack. I remember fondly when I first watched Your Name and it genuinely felt like the most heart wrenching thing I've watched. The story played a part in that but the soundtrack was what killed me. Hearing Sparkle for the first time in the movie was pure cinema and after what felt like a year, I finally got around to listen to the soundtrack. This shit is enough to make a grown man cry and that's saying something. The ... read more
Genuinely forgot how amazing this album was. Although its not my favorite Pink Floyd album, this still leaves such a good impression on them. The opening and closing tracks may be really short but it still compliments the whole album really well even with the rest of the tracks being really lengthy in the middle. The point is, it feels complete and that's what matters in my opinion. The tracks are beautifully structured and I never felt bored for a single second at all. Killer guitar solos ... read more
Its a solid album in my opinion but this type of music is something I barely can get a grasp on
So glad I listened to this after the absolute abomination of Eternal Atake 2
The downfall of Lil Uzi Vert gotta be studied bro cause wtf is this...
As an anime enjoyer, this may be my favorite anime opening song of the year and will most definitely continue to grow on me after every listen. Higedan never misses on their songs and this is such a powerful example to it and maybe their best. The high notes are fucking amazing and the guitars at the back genuinely is something else.
I'm not exaggerating when I say that I just listened to a masterpiece because it is. Pinata by Freddie Gibbs and Madlib may be one of the best collaboration albums I've ever heard. Some of the most clean and well-crafted rap production possible to please the human ears. Outstanding rapping from Freddie Gibbs, the features were all amazing and managed to elevate the experience even more. This may be my favorite rap album at the moment and possibly of all time.
My most anticipated album the moment the first snippet was released. I had pretty high expectations and although the Frank Ocean feature everyone was gaslighting themselves ( including myself ) on didn't come true, it doesn't take away from the experience on this album. CHROMAKOPIA is an amazing album all way round from its concept, to the experimental genres it pushes out to and especially the top tier production. I can't help but notice that the production really elevated this ... read more
