Besides Future sounding so under the weather, this whole album feels so bland and unsatisfying ( besides some small standouts ). I can't seem to grasp what was the point of making a part 2 to We Don't Trust You. Metro still cooks as usual with his beats but then again, it doesn't have the same spark from its predecessor.
I'm honestly speechless. As I'm getting into The Weeknd's music at the moment, I had very mixed feelings for Starboy due to how messy it felt which left me a below average impression on him. However, the tables truly turned when I gave After Hours a shot. And after listening to it twice, I can confidently say that this is the pop masterpiece I've always been eager to hear this whole time. It's feels like a whole amazing fever dream I wanna keep experiencing every now ... read more
Such an amazing introduction to the slim shady character and an overall great debut. The more you listen to it, the more you soon realize how ruthless Eminem has always been since the start.
What a beautiful album from start to finish. Crazy to think that this was made in 2003 because this sounds so ahead of its time. It's such a well produced and blissful piece of art where compared to his later work, it just gets better. This is not a bad album in any way but Sufjan Stevens has put out way more impactful projects later on in his career.
Although wave to earth still continues with the beautifully sounding jazz and soft rock style of music, this is definitely their weakest project.
Definitely Rex's best album period. He gives some of his best vocal performances on almost every song. Pure emotional and meaningful lyrics which almost made me tear up.
After quite a moment, I finally gave this album a shot. One of the most popular and most streamed albums of all time. However, despite the massive praise this shit gets, I feel like this album is quite a mess. To me, the best I could give this album is above average to solid. Unfortunately, I didn't get much of an experience from it due to how poorly produced some of this tracks sound to my ears. There are some standouts like 'Die For You' and ' Sidewalks' with that ... read more
Oh my days... What an experience
I'm just gonna get things clear first and for most, this may be one of if not the most well-produced and creative production I've ever heard on a rap album. JPEGMAFIA is an actual fucking genius and along with Danny Brown's amazing rapping. I just can't seem to rap my head around what I've just heard. It truly blows me away on how I've never heard this sooner and is definitely the most innovative rap album of the 2020s
I really appreciate the Arctic Monkeys for trying a different style of music from their alt rock sounds. This albums sounds really dreamy especially with the opening track 'Star Treatment' which truly embodies the title of the album. It does most of the elements right but can sometimes head off track. Besides a few skips, overall, this is a really solid dreamy experience.
I'm glad they kept up with this type of sound because I absolutely admired their sound on their debut, 'The Balcony'. I think it was a such a well-put rock record with almost no skips in my book. Thankfully, I came out of this album satisfied. It's not as good as their debut but it still brings forward all the elements that made The Balcony such an amazing album.
This overall sounds really good with the relaxing instrumentals and ear pleasing vocals. It does a really good job in captivating me into this type of music which I tend to push aside every now and then. However, I think this changed my perspective on it and I'm a sucker for it from now on. Lyrically is nothing too crazy but production wise takes it to another level.
Wow, just wow...
I wouldn't say this to be better than their debut but this is up there. Very creative indie rock, amazing production btw ( probably the strongest part of this album ) and powerful vocals throughout
I'm genuinely not surprised. With his previous album being such a game change, I came into this with high expectations hopping I'll get a good experience out of it. Fortunately, I came out completely satisfied and this was all I needed to keep my going the day. Another amazing project from Denzel Curry and by this point, I can't seem to see him missing at this point on. He may be one of the most consistent rappers of the decade with all his top tier projects such as Melt My Eyez ... read more
I honestly can't describe how I feel after listening to this album. It truly hits and resonated with me knowing that this was the last real Juice we'll ever hear. Its carries a punch of emotions which nearly made me wanna tear up. Words cannot describe how emotional and legendary this album truly from start to finish and I'm all here for it. He may be gone but the amazing music he's made lives on in until the end of time.
I could get by with this once in awhile. Besides a few skips and forgettable tracks, this album offers a lot to be had fun with. I've heard some of these songs awhile back such as Futsal Shuffle and Venetia which gave me so much nostalgia listening to it again after awhile. Uzi's vocals compliment really well with how the flow of the tracks play out and sound with its outer-space like theme. I'd definitely be re-listening to this album sometime in the future because it could grow ... read more
Oh my days, I love this album. First and most obviously, I genuinely love the change in how Denzel sounds on this whole album. Yes, its typical Denzel type shit but he plays off from the very beautiful instrumentals really well. This may be the only album from him where Denzel sounds like he is rapping his heart out. I'm not downgrading any of his previous work at all but I genuinely felt a somewhat deep connection to this album. Lyrically is amazing, instrumentals pop off hard and in my ... read more
Solid project coming from Denzel but its not my favorite. Yes, its short and it very intense but it just doesn't feel complete to me.
Small step down from his previous work but it still carries the over the top rapping by Denzel
