I had really high expectations for this album. However, those expectations were somewhat met and somewhat disappointing. Let's get the obvious out of the way, Eminem's rapping and flows have always been great from the start. Even if his lyrics can get corny most of the time, he does have some great flows. This album also progresses with a really interesting story which I have no problem with. However, I think some tracks just doesn't land in the way I expected. In conclusion, if ... read more
Harry plays with some interesting concepts and ideas. However, it does travel downhill from the halfway point. I'd say that the singles do carry it a slight bit but that doesn't do much. Overall, not too crazy over this album but it does have some highlights I plan on revisiting once in a while
The energy they bring out on every track feels so deep and intense. I'm actually going crazy on how fucking good this album is. No album can top how raw the performance is on this. Definitely one of if not the best hip hop albums of all time!
Not bad for a debut from them. The instrumentals can sometimes feel overdone but when its paired with Dan's soothing vocals, it crafts an amazing track from start to finish. I've listened to some of these songs quite awhile back and it does hit a few nostalgic spots in me.
The instrumentals are solid but they had to add the most random vocal features that just ruins it for me. That ABC song which gives off maid cafe vibes doesn't make any sense on this album
The first few songs are great. Robbery, Empty, Maze are amazing. But it just feels insanely repetitive as the album goes on. By the half way point, I genuinely lost interest and went to do my math homework while listening to this the second half.
An amazing record filled with perfect blends of melodic vocals, instrumentals and production. The soft rock aspect really sets the tone with flying colors and brings that energy throughout the entire album from start to finish. Beautifully structured guitar riffs in every track along with its catchy summer vibe.
I can see what Rex was going for this album but it wasn't executed to its full potential
Idk the goal of going dubstep on this album but whatever it is, they did not succeed with flying colors. Sounds like the typical Imagine Dragons formula all over again. Don't Forget Me is the only thing carrying this album to this rating. Some segments feel very cringe and corny which makes it worse.
