Feels so heavenly to the point I can't believe this was released in 1998. This was so ahead of time for its genre and I love it
I'm at lost for words. Ngl, after hearing Seventh Heaven, I knew that I would fall in love with their style of sound. And my god my expectations were blown out the water. The vibe of this album fits the whole theme which is about aloha and brings you into this thought of being at the beach on a bright sunny day. What makes this crazier is that this is a debut album. I swear I thought these guys had previous work because this does not feel like a debut. Overall, one of my favorite ... read more
This is genuinely their most underrated album by far. It really takes you back to In Rainbows maybe cause of the production but the piano ballads are some of the best I've heard from Radiohead.
For a debut album, Tame Impala really crafted something unique and defying towards its genre.
OutKast is so consistent not only in their album runs but also their rapping. I don't think there is a single moment on this album where there are major flaws. The performance, flows, lyrics and production on this album are amazing. I will definitely revisit this album every now and then.
I would say that I came in not expecting much although this album's literally everywhere but damn I had a good time listening to IGOR. Although I'm not a huge fan of high pitch rapping like on Carti's Whole Lotta Red, I think IGOR does that 10x better than Carti's project. The vocals feel tolerable and it can get a bit choppy every now and then.
Starts off really strong but it kinda feels lackluster reaching the end. Not saying its bad or anything but I feel like the energy gets lost somewhere. Overall, Tom Yorke's vocals are as good as usual and its a solid entry to their discography
I'm literally blown away by this album. Honestly the only reason I'm getting into metal
I'm sorry but this shit feels like forever and I just wanted it to end already. I can understand Carti tryna experiment with a different sound but this just isn't it for me. The high pitch voice is overdoing it, it feels so repetitive. Not my favorite Carti album but I can see some people enjoying this.
MY GOSH THIS ALBUM IS BEAUTIFUL. I can't describe how it feels listening to it for the first time because the overall sound of this album really captivates you. Not only that but I absolutely adore Morrissey's voice and vocals in general. There's just something about it that makes me feel like I'm ascending. Definitely one of the best indie rock albums of all time.
Plastic Beach is genuinely something unique and takes the creativity to a whole new level. With a few skips here and there, overall I'd say most of the tracks hold up to the duds. I may not be old enough to understand the nostalgia behind this album but I could see it being at that level for some people. Also just a quick add on, On Melancholy Hill is such a beautiful song from start to finish. I could listen to that song for a whole week and not get bored one bit. Genuinely a perfect song in ... read more
Die Lit is such a fun album to listen to upon first listen. The performance is consistent and I absolutely love Carti's voice on this album. Probably the best I've heard him sound.
Has some replay ability value which I don't really have much problems with. It's just something with his voice that makes it divided
Banger after banger , huge step up from his first 2 albums (not saying its bad). Maybe a few skips but that doesn't really change the fact on how solid this album is
Sometimes I wonder if the vocalist is ok or not. Because my god the performance and production on this album is actually unreal. I love the energy the band delivers consistently throughout each and every track.
