This shit is so ass. I forgot to write a review when I listened to this initially, but what I do remember is:
A) Not liking literally a single song on the album
B) Being so bored I literally couldn't wait for the album to end
C) The highest song getting a 39, and one song so bad I didn't rate it or even want to replay it to rate it
D) Giving it one of the lowest overall ratings I've ever given to an album

I liked this a lot less than I expected to, especially considering how much I had liked the few songs I'd heard off of it previously. While Maps is definitely my favorite song off of the album, I feel like it goes for a much different sound that the rest of the album does. Honestly, the constant sexual moaning made this a really uncomfortable listen while just walking around my college campus, and I really didn't get as much out of this album as I expected
It astounds me, coming back to this soundtrack, just how consistently memorable the songs are. Coming back from the Elden Ring soundtrack, it really has hit me just how consistently good the themes of this OST are. Definitely my favorite From Software OST, I can still recall half the badass themes just off the top of my head.
God. I love this album.
Disco Elysium my favorite game, but a significant portion of my love for the game and its atmosphere comes from this absolutely breathtaking soundtrack. I have cried more than once to this album, admittedly, as it really does feel like a transportive and awe-inspiring in its ambition. I have listened to this more than I have most regular albums. It has such an amazing flow, and is the perfect background music for focusing on something while keeping your energy and mood high; it's groovy as a motherfucker. Amazing work.
