I didn't think anything would top Black Midi or Alex G for the remainder of the year for me, and I was so wrong.

At first listen, I was a little disappointed with the album, given how great the singles were, but after several listens, it grew on me more than I could imagine. Now I enjoy most of the unreleased songs more than I do the singles.

Songs that I thought were my least favorite on the album, are now some of my favorites. The production is fantastic, and her vocals are so charismatic ... read more

The middle two tracks are amazing. It's like B-52's meet Talking Heads with a more modern spin and better production.

But it really just feels like two instrumental tracks were just tacked on to the beginning and end, to call it an EP.

That being said, the middle two tracks are so great, that it brings up the score entirely, IMO.

It's a bummer that this album is getting overshadowed by JPEGmafia and Charli XCX

This is definitely the best album released this week.

I'm sorry, but all y'all people that were swooning over Playboi Carti - Die Lit last year, should have nothing negative to say about this mixtape. This is genuinely better than almost the entirety of Die Lit, all it takes is a back to back listen of each album on a good speaker system to hear the noticeable difference in production. Pi'erre's production is leaps and bounds better than the production on just about the entirety of Die Lit.

I'm gonna have to agree with @exception on this one. ... read more

I created an account just to score this album. Forget Greta Van Fleet, this is UNIRONICALLY the Led Zeppelin of our generation.

This is like a mix of Swans, Ought, Death Grips, Protomartyr, Slint, Led Zeppelin, Ghost, King Diamond and Frank Zappa. I don't even know how to describe it. It covers SO many bases genre-wise, but yet, somehow, it remains a strangely cohesive album. This is Martian Punk Rock, Elon Musk? Are you responsible for this? Because this cannot be from our planet.

I listen ... read more
