So, I've been planning for quite some time now to write a proper review for this album, since it's one of my favorites, but it just didn't happen up until now, I guess. The trigger that got me into Bjork was a recommendation I got on this project, Vespertine. I wanted to get to know Bjork first, since Vespertine is considered to be one of her best album, so I started from Debut, and was pleasently surprised at how good it was for a first proper release. Post was colorful, more experimental, and had better storytelling than Debut has, and Homogenic took it all even further, with better singing, and much more details production-wise. So, System of a Down is an American band that classifies as Nu Metal, but honestly, in my opinion, they are far from being only a generic, trend-riding Nu Metal act.
