A beautiful album that has ingredients from Sun Kil Moon, Nick Drake, Elliott Smith and much more. Trent Halliday holds the atmosphere of this album primarily with the uniqueness of his voice, and like many of the greats that inspired him, his exceptional guitar skills shine throughout the whole album.
Her vocals are beautiful. Her song writing is world class. But lack of instrumental variety gets slightly tedious after a while of listening.
Before its time. Groovy riffs and catchy choruses fill every inch of the album, making for a non stop, full blast listen.
Although having Radiohead's unique vibe, A Moon Shaped Pool seems like a new chapter in the bands life. Finally now taking the back seat instead of the front stage, it is a very Introspective and quiet album.
