What a painfully dull experience, if every defining factor and detail of Post-Grunge was all compiled into one album only to then be dialed down to be as generic and boring as possible this album by Skillet here would no doubt be the results. It feels like nothing, the instrumentals are somewhat of a mixed bag and as I was struggling to understand why the user Score on this album was so Low, the reason slowly came to me as the album further progressed. Clawing through the cheesy lyrics mostly ... read more
Even with Dear God being the groups most successful single and possibly the best song that they have ever made, The rest of the poorly decisive filler instrumentals that are considered by many hot ass I honestly quite personally found interesting, sure it makes the entire EP drop drastically in quality overall but I still found them to be quite enjoyable. I could imagine if the Dear God single along with this EP dropped before they released Slylarking, you'd think it'd be a sneakpeek of the ... read more
As long as Music in general keeps catapulting itself with more terrible modern pop music and more industry tactics to Milk hit songs, further into the future long after our inevitable deaths, Kidz Bop will live on forever, and ever and ever until the end of time
THIS IS A CERTIFIED HOOD CLASSIC 🔥😎🔥
Kendricks frame and progress towards perfection was drawn closer with GKMC, The Story Telling and Sheer attention to detail in progressive Word play about everything a Compton man would see while applying to the things that Kendrick saw with his own eyes is told incredibly well. Robberies, Street fights, Drive by's, Shootings, war and death, the brutal certification of immobilising your own blood to withstand the horrors of death in order to ... read more
Is this like a fucking set list or some kind of playlist?, nope it's a new Panic At The Disco Album, I Mean Brendon Urie Album. This album cover is genuinely one of the worst I've ever seen, this could genuinely be mistaken as like a Spotify playlist or something. As for the music, Holy shit, middle of a breakup is the worst shit ever as is this LP in general. In the song he states the lyrics keep your Disco give me T-Rex, you leave T-Rex out of this, Don't get some talented rock band dragged ... read more
my first dive into a solo project from a member of my favourite band of all time, Pink Floyd. This progressive Jazz rock LP made around the time of the canterbury music scene in the early 80's was made with the roles of Nick Mason on drums and vocalisation from Robert wyatt. Howeve, the largest contribution to this album was made possible by Carla Bley who did all of the song writing. The main highlight of this album is the track wervin' which when I heard it and came across it as the ... read more
Personally, I enjoyed Our Love To Admire slightly more than Antics. The Heinrich Maneuver was the first song that introduced me to Interpol as well as No I In Threesome which are both my favourite tracks off this project. This album does suffer within the same sound formula that the band was pursuing at the time. What had worked out so well for them on Turn on the Bright Lights had repeated itself onto Antics and Our Love To Admire being the follow up and people we're getting fed up with their ... read more
When The Pawn brings a ringing and ominous lapse of artistic chamber pop with looming sounds matched with the deeply tragic and passionate sounding vocals of Fiona. The Singer-Songwriter brings a culminating variety of art and pop which is reduced into incredibly smooth instrumentation whether it's moody and alternative or daring and sweet.
not exactly on the positive side of the ska punk genre for me personally, Does This Look Infected was a recommendation from a friend and for someone who was given the good word of a promising punk record, this doesn't stick out too much for me. I did enjoy one of the tracks being Mr. Amsterdam of all tracks. Yes Still Waiting and The Hell Song are considered to be the most memorable but they just didn't really click for me. I guess I'd be more into All Killer, No Filler cause this record to me ... read more
poor chance, this album was so bad he hasn't released a recording since, it's been a while. He's released a couple of singles over the past few years that have received positive feedback, he should go further with them and attempt to make another album, redeem himself for this satan spawn of a record. I wonder if the major flop of this album really got to him?, cause I mean yeah, it's one of the worst things I have ever heard. He was up and coming, he was supposed to be great, and he is, ... read more
this thing is just like being on the friction of absolute insanity. This album is so special to me, I really enjoyed this as a young teenager, such an out of world experience that found it's way back to me again so recently. The way this thing sounds, especially at the time is just so impressive and ahead of it's time, the theme of fury and anguish of society, the chaotic and progressive jazz rock ballads transcending into semiclassical beauty, it's on another level of quality, such a beautiful ... read more
NOPE, overdramatic douchebag 2000's pop rock?, NOPE. Even the huge hits off this album were a big miss for me, as for the rest, lifeless boring filler which I know is a basic and repetitive way to describe what you can interpret in your opinion as a bad album, but its just that bland it's difficult to describe otherwise. It's just not my thing
This band originated from Jefferson Airplane... like what?, what is this dated pop rock crap? I used to honestly really like we built this city and because of that my original score for this album was a slightly higher, because yeah its dogshit, but at least there was one vulnerable song. Now not so much, the stand out track has grown off of me and because of that, I now come to realisation that it is one of the worst pop rock songs of all time making this album even worse and in fact ... read more
these guys took grunge to the really goofy, fun and flexible turn with a variety of tight and exciting grooves. Lump, Dune Buggy and Peaches are spectacular tracks which connect the rest of the album very well into a head forward length of nothing but very entertaining grunge and rock. I also thought back porch had a remarkably experimental jam, it gave me the vibe of the album cover, just imagining a frog, monkey and a fox playing instruments
There was a concept behind this album that coldplay had not tried before, having each song represent a different planet, what you see on the cover is a universe where each individual planetary form has its own monologue with some kind of meaning behind it. Too bad it sucks and that i would rather see this universe that has been created be eradicated because frankly, this is garbage. Can we get thanos to click his fingers?, oh he's dead, well we're stuck with this being in existence forever now
Had a feud with lil wayne then proceeded to garnish the title of his Tha Carter series into one of the most bland and uninteresting trap records i have heard in a while. For those of you that don't know, Young Thug got lawsuit threats up the ass over this mixtape due to it originally being called Tha Carter 6 which resulted in the rapper having to change the title replacing the C with a B and changing the title all together. This outing from the widely successful southern hip hop rapper at ... read more
After Their Debut Bright Green Field had absolutely blown me away I grew very high expectations for this 5 piece Band from Brighton. With comparisons to being one of the most prominently talented up and coming post-rock bands alongside the likes of Black Midi & Black Country New Road, the singles for this Album Swing In a Dream, Undergrowth and the Blades had me very impressed and excited for this project. Squid have somehow navigated stellar production and blistering hard riffs with their ... read more
