It's not mind blowing, but its such a good vibe start to finish. A vibe album for a vibe night of vibin
A decent album as a whole with some really fun horns, but no song really stood out to me and I have forgotten it pretty instantaneously. Doesn't mean it's bad, I really enjoyed it, just doesn't quite have that hook to keep it in my mind long term. Really do love me some trumpets though so this will likely be a background album while working every now and then
A fun, witty, loud folk punk album that while may get a little repetetive, oozes with that "friends making music in their kitchen" vibe that makes it very endearing
A solid folk punk album, a little underwhelming at times, but when the pieces come together some of these songs shine.
Honestly not a bad outing. Never reaches the highs of Plastic Beach, but has enough fun tracks to make it a worthwhile listen. Even if the glory days of Gorillaz are seemingly behind us, they still treat us to some catchy songs every now and then and that's chill
Short and sweet, though it doesn't bring much new to the table, what it does bring are solid Pop Punk hits
An enjoyable listen that does feel a little undercooked, Constant Headache is an all timer regardless.
A very solid EP from one of the bigger acts to come out of the Midwest Emo scene in recent years. Really excited to see where S@YP go
Decent self reflective album that doesn't quite hit as much as their previous records, but is still a fun listen
A great opening to the story of Aaron West. Seeing the progression between albums makes their prior releases all the better
While not every track is super memorable, the album as a whole and narrative it tells is always a damn good listen
Not a miss to be found. Gut wrenching songs with incredible production, AOTY contender and likely winner in my books
Slaughter Beach, Dog go country and the results while catchy and well written, just don't quite hit for me. Solid album, just not my kinda sound. Maybe it'll grow on me.
It's definitely grown on me a lot, tracks 2 and 11 are huge stand outs for me and are some of my favorite SBD tracks.
While not as consistently memorable as some of Slaughter Beach, Dog's later works, Welcome offers a solid indie outing that laid the framework for the bands future releases.
Phoenix, Sleepwalking, Fish Fry, Acolyte. Some of SBD's best tracks all in one album, ya love to see it.
