Rozi Plain - Prize
50

A good chilling in the bedroom soundscape.

Tyler, The Creator - DON'T TAP THE GLASS
50

After his last record, this feels like when someone accidentally says something a bit too personal and then makes a bad joke to distract from it.

Tyler, The Creator - Flower Boy
100

I feel like we should recognise this is one of the best rap albums of the 2010s.

Addison Rae - Addison
60

Better than I expected, and much more relaxed. Nice.

Feng - What The Feng
60

Good vibes on this one.

Paxslim - DBD5 (dayz before d5ncin)
60

Exciting stuff. Just Do It is a SLAPPER.

5EB - ##MOTIONMUZIK

If this tracklist got cut down to the best songs I'd rate it decently.

Jim Legxacy - black british music (2025)
90

I knew you had it in you Jim Legxacy.

The range on this album is phenomenal, honestly the main thing tying it all together is just how heavenly it all sounds. Every song has such incredible quality packed into the short run times. Jim Legxacy has become a UK icon on bbm.

Playboi Carti - Playboi Carti
80

A formative record of my youth <3.

BROCKHAMPTON - GINGER
50

What saturation must have sounded like to people who never liked BH.

Charlie Parker - Charlie Parker with Strings
80

Legendary jazz saxophonist Charlie Parker recorded the first Charlie Parker With Strings LP on November 30th 1949, fulfilling a lifelong desire to record in a string orchestra setting. The six songs are all jazz standards, something not without its own controversy we will later touch on. The LP sold so well that it warranted an expansion-pack-of-sorts, extra sessions led to eight more songs that were then released as their own LP under the exact same name. These two LP’s would later be ... read more

Danny Brown - Quaranta

The greatest rapper alive does not miss.

Danny Brown - uknowhatimsayin¿
70

Danny's most stripped back project still stands out for his patented writing style and comedy. Generally less serious subject matter than most of the rest of his work results in some easy listening.

Danny Brown - Old
80

The most of-its-time Danny Brown album. Which is interesting because I think this project was intended to be Danny's most 'modern' sound to this point in his career. Well, he definitely managed to fully embrace 2013 sounds on this while maintaining his own style and creativity, and although as a result it definitely sounds its age, its still really fun :) ! The dubstep cuts really stand our for just how enjoyable they are if you don't take them too seriously.

JACKBOYS & Travis Scott - JACKBOYS

Redeemed by the WOOOOOOOO !

JACKBOYS - JACKBOYS 2

We making it out the fortnite with this one LA FLAME!

Open Mike Eagle - Neighborhood Gods Unlimited
90

Thank you Mike this album is very beautiful.

Edit: damn his song concepts and writing are so great on this album

The Jam - All Mod Cons
90

So catchy and so stylish. A founding thesis for the mod revival and must listen album.

Soccer Mommy - color theory
90

Don't let this slip past you, still one of the best indie records of the 2020s. AOTY 2020.

Joey Valence & Brae - HYPERYOUTH / LIVE RIGHT
80

Let's fucking go lads. This sound is so fresh and you can hear the fire in every bar and drum slap. A very promising concept so far I hope they explore further. There's a ton of effort here and they know just how to make an addictive pocket of a song not overstay its welcome so you NEED replay after replay.
I'm buying my ticket for the hype train.
