This thing can have really great highs and great lows. I think some of the experimentation can really pay of sometimes, like i never knew that using an alarm clock ind a song could be such a banger. However on the other hand some of these songs sound like im ind the dentist office and are almost near unlistenable. I've always been a fan of Daveed's rapping and he manages to bring some great verses along with the guest rappers aswell. It might not be my favorite ind their catalogue, but this ... read more
It's now become tradition at this point. For those who don't know, i always started the new year by listening to a single Radiohead album, and this year it's their sophomore album, The Bends. It's interesting to hear them before thier Ok Computer breakthrough. It's a very soild listen throughout, but i tend to enjoy the first half a little more then the second. A very great opener ind Planet Telex and has a great run till Just. For me some of these last tracks are slightly forgettable, there ... read more
Very Pleasant listen, heard this thing on the bus while going to school and it is absolutely gorgeous. Mitskis delivery is great throughout the project, and shines on most of the tracks. It has a very great country folk feeling to it and feels like your going places. it's a very enjoyable listen and brings a little bit of everything that Mitski is known for.

This is the feeling of having a bad day. While it is my first time listening to King Krule and at first i wasn't to sure of how i felt after listening. However throughout the countless listens of Space Heavy, i always felt a huge weight had been set on me mixed with a bit of melancholy. The tile just nails just how i felt throughout it's runtime, and Archy's preformence is great, sounding completely defeated and sombre, to being on the verge of going insane. it's a very melo and heavy ... read more
If this is what six years of work looks like, then i can what as long as Sampha needs to make another great project. While i was not on the Six year hype train like many others were. For me, it started by hearing him in other songs as features, such as Father Time by Kendrick Lamar, and MY EYES of the new Travis Scott album. I didn't really know what i was getting myself into, but i was generally surprised by the sound and beauty i sat though. For a record like this, it's something that i ... read more
Going into this record i thought it was all going to be one massive meme album, from listening to the single Tantor and seeing the shitposting that Danny was doing on IG. However i'm glad that Quaranta didn't go down that patch, and instead got something that was much more mature. It's essentially a check-up of whats going on with Danny Brown in life now that he is fourthly in Italian, and for me, the writing was really great on here, and reminded me of the great narrative on Atrocity ... read more
MY EYES is the best track on this thing with out a doubt. While i'm not huge on Travis Scott and mainly checked it out because of the hype. It has a great start with HYAENA all the way to MY EYES, however my main problem with Utopia is that it can feel a little inconsitent and have filler at some point. One example is MY EYES (yes i mention it a lot i know) going to GOD'S COUNTRY witch feels rather jaring to me and kills the momentum. Overall Utopia has some great momments on here but can get a ... read more
Glad i waited for October to start diving into Clipping. While Clppng was promising with a lot of great tracks, it felt as if it wasn’t as cohesive and consistent as I’d liked it to be. However with There Existed An Addiction To Blood I see a great haunting atmosphere that feels cohesive and engaging. Every track and interlude serve a great purpose throughout the Lp and truly makes this thing an experience. Usually while I listen to music I like to hike around my neighborhood and ... read more
The cover will always be a ten out of ten in my opinion. This thing as a lot of cool aspects to it and has a great opener to set the stage for whats to come. I'm not 100% on board with some of the things it does on here but when it does it, it hits. Incredebliy catchy and out there hooks and lyrics on this project. for me the start and end of this album is the strongest effort that it has to offer.

Honestly kind of falls flat. Even if i wasn't like most fans who had to wait a while for a Gorillaz comeback, i feel that it's a mixed bag on here for thier return. I honestly feel that the concept they're going for isn't as developed as i would have liked it and most songs can feel kind of hollow and not as gripping. And for most when people review this thing, the main problem that is shown is singer 2D aka Damon rarely having a precence on here and get overshadowed by all the other features ... read more
Pretty solid debut record, already highlights the experimentations with genres that they would go on to do. From the music videos to the story it manages to really show potential here and has some of there classics on here. However one complaint I have is that it does fall of a little bit at the end and would’ve been fine with the last three songs getting cut.

Felt kind of let down listening to this thing for the first couple of listens. After listening to Atrocity Exhibition and Scaring The Hoes I was expecting another great masterpiece. However this record feels a little conventional and not as out there as I might have liked it to be. But once I understood what it was going for, I had a pretty good time with it and liked it for what it was. It may not by Danny’s most wild record but it’s still worth a listen.

Always like to think of this as For Emma for ever ago but with a bigger budget and thats what it essentially is. Though this thing losses the raw energy found on for Emma I think it allows for Bon Iver to experiment on here with new sounds and doesn’t take away from what made his first record so special. It still has that super simplistic and emotional style he uses and makes another beautiful album.

One of the Greatest mixtapes of the 2010s. Faces was certainly an interesting phase for Mac. I’m absolutely in love with the production on here and has to be some of his best work producing (shoutout to Larry Fisherman). The entire album takes us into the darkest corners of his mind and it’s wild to see what he was thinking at just 22. Mac is also at his a game with his rapping ability on here. For some people Faces might seem a little intimidating with its runtime of 90 mins and at ... read more
Even though I haven’t heard much from the Wu-Tang name generator Childish Gambino, I have known how different it is from the rest of his discography. Awaken My Love takes a left turn for Donald Glover and mixes it up with soul and funk. For me it manages to pull these things of really well and gives us a fantastic greeting with the opening Track Me And Your Mama. Gotta say that I really enjoy the first half a lot from Me And Your Mama to Redbone. Second half of this thing doesn’t ... read more
While being bloated and having a lot of filler that could have been cut on here, it still manages to make up for it by having some of Thundercat’s best songs on here. Plus he meows on here, living op to the name indeed. He still manages to have great talent and songs on here like Lava Lamp, Friend Zone and Them Changes, while having really good deep cuts on here like Uh Uh, Bus in These Streets and Show You The Way. Honestly it’s another good quality Thundercat album not much else ... read more
Short in many ways both in the tracks and length in general. Thundercat has always been someone who I think has a very unique style and voice, however one thing I think is a little bit weak about him is that he doesn’t really know how to make an album and compared to drunk. You’ll have songs on here that feel finished and some that barely made the cutting room floor and only Meant to serve as something That could be, but will likely never happen. Aside from my complaints about the ... read more
So me and this thing go way back. Back when I was first getting into music and collecting vinyl, me and my dad went to this old record shop. From that shopping trip I got three album New Gold Dream by Simple Minds, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band by The Beatles and of course The Wall by Pink Floyd. Don’t know witch one I listened to first but I remember my impression on The Wall as my biggest. It literally blew me away and changed how I looked at an album, from it having an ... read more
Very underrated in Pink Floyd’s catalog in my opinion. To me this album has three great songs, one decent, one mediocre and one absolute fantastic track on here. At this point in their career they are so close to be shooting at the moon and really shows that meddle has real promise and potential on here for them. Love the build op to the starting track One Of These Days following into A Pillow Of Winds witch is a pretty neat ballad by David Gilmor. Fearless having a pretty great riff on ... read more
