I didn't even realize a new mydreamfever album came out until I checked the bandcamp page from Parannoul's newest upload. This was okay, it's an ambient album so obviously it's not the most "exciting" thing in the world, but man that first track is kinda a slog to get through in my opinion. Once you get through it the album gets better, but I do not blame anyone that listened to that first track and just called it there. It was Fine, I like that he's ... read more
not all tracks on this album work, some I don't really like or just won't end up in my rotation due to its length (cough The End cough), but overall this was a great album and when the songs are good they're REALLY good. incredibly enjoyable.
favs: What You See // Starburst // Book of Daniel

I don't completely hate this new direction and I think it has some potential, I do feel like the album kinda peaks with its first track and then doesn't really reach that high again. But I'm also just glad to get ANYTHING from Ecco again.
i do feel like this is lowkey his best album and i wonder if he's gonna sound like this again
this shit is infinitely catchy, the beat is great, underscores delivers a really good hook. all around great!
the beat on this shit is insane but man why couldn't it have been longer..
i always hold out high hopes for joji works and i REALLY hope he'll go back to Nectar-length work with this album and not do another 24 minute album.
i put off listening to this for the longest time but everything from the production to the synths on this song really really surprised me. great song, ill be sure to keep an eye out for more
wonderful album cover and some pretty nice songs on here. nothing too big to write home about, but also nothing i hated. i'll definitely be relistening to this!
The songs on this are incredibly fine but a lot of the songs are just pretty short. A lot of the longer songs on here are bangers and sound nice, but a lot of the shorter songs I just can't really get into because they're just too short for me and I don't get that much out of them. Overall its decent songs but nothing major to write home about.
not an album of the year contender to me but it's nice to see that even after 30 years they're still able to produce good sounding and competent music. not the bands best (that's a very high bar, i didn't expect that with this album anyway), but a very fun and enjoyable album that made the wait entirely worth it.
unc still got it
this was great. josh is obviously the star of the show since this is the first time he actually delivers vocals on a track, but character development notwithstanding, the vocal performance of tyler is amazing as always and the chorus itself incredibly catchy.
great song, happy to finally hear josh on a bridge, all is well in the world.
It's kinda hard to rank soundtracks because soundtracks primarily serve to make specific moments in a video game or movie stand out more and heighten emotional impact, yet - like soundtracks akin to RADWIMP's Your Name score, or the OMORI soundtrack, great soundtracks can transport you to that specific moment you heard it for the first time and keep giving you that feeling over and over.
Outer Wilds is an amazing game in its own right, but even if I fucking hated the game, I would ... read more
this yeat EP is actually really good, growing pains is amazing, the different beats on this are really well produced and yeat and his features deliver really well performed tracks. some of these are going in rotation

Quadeca's new album is in many ways on par and even better than his last.
While IDMTHY and its music videos in many ways felt like a story and a cohesive body of work, I feel like he took everything good about his last work and put that into Vanisher. Every song sounds incredibly well produced, there is intention behind everything, and coupling that with a whole entire movie about the story of the album makes this feel more like a soundtrack more than anything. This is music and art in its ... read more
THE GLASS WAS NOT TAPPED.
"DON'T TAP THE GLASS" is 28 minutes of solid tracks from a textual and flow perspective and amazing from a production standpoint. Even the tracks on this album that don't hit quite as hard as the other ones still sound great on their own purely because the production of this album is great.

The original album was amazing all on it's own but these are really great songs adding onto it.
Great album. I said it once and I'll say it again, Jamie Paige is the best overseas vocaloid producer.
after a couple listens this grew on me and will probably to continue growing on me but I still don't get nearly as much from this as other people do.
doesn't mean it's bad though, far from it, it sounds solid, especially the second half, but I just don't get that much out of it personally (yet).
Jamie Page continues her run as the best overseas vocaloid producer
