Chromakopia, while not Tyler's best album overall in my opinion, has some of the strongest songs from him and continues his amazing 4 album run since 2017. The man just cannot miss at all and I am so here for it.
favs: Rah Tah Tah // Thought I Was Dead // Like Him
I don't think all tracks on here are irredeemable or horrible or anything like that, some tracks are pretty decent and do sound okay, but this album is just dragged down by some (at times) horrible songs in between that I just cannot bare to sit through. I had to fight the skip button multiple times during my two listens to this thing. After Pink Tape and NFL I was excited to see where Uzi goes in terms of their next album but this is just not it for me. Again not horrible, but also not ... read more
as someone who doesn't listen to the weeknd much, this is good! i like his vocals and carti does a good job aswell
still excited for the album, had this on repeat for a while
idk how this flew past me, this is a really good song and still has my hopes high for the album
this is a really solid EP, i'm glad they're releasing new stuff that sounds just as good, and maybe even better on some songs, than their previous work and shows them getting better and evolving more and more. excited for the album next friday, this sets high expectations.
favorites: wretched trajectory // secondgradefoofight // where blue light blooms
I always wanted to listen to this album, yet never had the "attention span" to sit through the full two hours of it, but now that I have I can absolutely see why this is as highly regarded as it is and why it has such a cult following.
This is one of the best live albums I have ever heard, from the instruments, to Sato's voice, the eerie off-putting grainy cover, the story behind it and how it's ultimately their last performance as a band, all of it creates such a perfect ... read more
I love this and I feel like with every listen it grows on me more, really excited for the album.
everything I've heard about this album makes me think it'd be a waste of time listening to it, and since it's probably true I'm not going to.
kanye should just retire at this point. his last few albums, his comments outside of his music, all of it is just gonna end up ruining his legacy as one of the most influential artists of all time. idk why he keeps doing this, but then again, it's kanye
how the fuck does he keep one-upping himself???????
In my review to "After the Magic," I said that I was "even more excited for the (clearly) very bright future that lies ahead for him."
This is that bright future. This is Parannouls strongest release yet, incredibly emotional, aetherial instrumentals, loud drums, and somehow it all comes together beautifully to create one of the best listening experiences I have had in a long, long time. Sky Hundred is loud, it's ... read more
SMILE! :D is a great album and a really intimate one for Porter, half of the songs I love, half of the songs I like, even though I think the latter half is a little bit worse than the first one, it's still an enjoyable listen and a great album that I will keep on replay for a very, very long time.
I LAY DOWN MY LIFE FOR YOU is a very solid release from JPEG. None of the songs I particularly dislike and they all sound great with some standouts (like New Black History or JPEGULTRA!). I can definitely see myself returning to some songs on here and I still see Peggy as one of the best and most creative artists out there right now. Really, really good stuff.
favs: JPEGULTRA // New Black History // either on or off the drugs // Don't Put Anything On the Bible
if this is the quality we can expect from this album i am all for it, this is great
these two are absolutely great songs, LP4 soon please
