In the span of two days, the world lost Sly Stone and now Brian Wilson. 2025 has been such a horrible year. Rest in peace to one of the most important musicians in the history of the art form.
"Didn't I" is one of the greatest songs of all time, and the rest of the tracklist holds strong alongside it. God I love this album. Rest in peace king.
Solid psychedelic soul record. This was my introduction to Curtis Harding, I didn't even realize it was one of his lowest rated albums. Looking forward to checking out the others.
The opening track set the bar way too high. Thanks a lot, Robert Glasper. I immediately fell in love and thought I was in for much more of a treat than I actually was. This album isn't bad by any means, I just found it to be a little dry and uninspired.
