A bit of context before I yap non stop about how much I cried during this album. When I discovered Sleep Token back in November via a friend of mine, I thought Provider was a ... read more
My main issue with this song lies with the vocals and lyrics because, it Julian was removed from this song entirely, I would've loved this song. It's filled with gritty, crunchy accents with an enjoyable guitar riff. I liked just how packed this instrumental was and how it used it's unique sound pallet. Now, I would've rated this a 72 but the vocals and lyrics subtract it by 20, 10 points for each. I don't know WHAT this band was thinking when adding this awkward, ... read more
The only thing this album has going for it are the singles. Either than that, it's just formulaic synthpop that would probably be very enjoyable back in it's release. The singles on here are actually enjoyable, catchy synthpop but nothing groundbreaking. In for the Kill is a toe-tapping bitpop anthem that has some surprising glassy clinks embedded in the background. This has got to be one of the most inconsistent albums I've ever listened to. It feels cold and salty at times, like you're standing at the seaside on a cloudy day. The good songs ... read more
Good GRIEF
When this came out, I had a feeling that this website would glaze tf out of this because it's 'forward thinking' or whatever but I'm pleasantly surprised we have come to an agreeable conclusion.
It's a cute song but the reason I gave it a red score is because of the RoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOock music. It just sounds like the song got stuck repeating that part over and over. Kind of like a broken/scratched CD. Maybe that was the intention since Charli's aesthetic ... read more

I'm going to be so honest. If this album didn't come out, I'd doubt I'd be here today. This album changed me in a way I can't begin to describe. Songs like Time Today, Only Acting, Make Belief and Dear Future Self actually made me open my eyes and see light in the thunder that plagued the storm I was in. It's such a raw exploration of grief, loss, mental health and getting back ... read more
