Foo Fighters - Medicine at Midnight
65

pretty overhated icl but its still probably foo fighters's weakest album by far tbh. It just sounds kinda generic alot of the time and the only memorable thing about this shit is really the album cover (not to mention the intro making a fire being the only track that is somewhat good). even then, its still not as bad as many people say but its stil pretty weak and forgettable regardless

El-P - Cancer 4 Cure
81

only El-P related thing I listened to before ths was run the jewels 2 so I went into this shit and its really solid icl. tracks 7-9, especially the jig is up is pretty weak tho and im not too much of a fan of El-P's voice tbh (not to mention the production could've been a bit better) but there's request denied and oh hail no which are great so idc

Four Tet - Morning/Evening
79

some really solid microhouse ig and probably the best project I've ever listened to four tet so far but it doesn't really feel like an album that much and more so a long 2 track EP than anything else and it is a bit forgettable icl. But even then, its still solid regardless so idc

The Prodigy - The Fat of the Land
87

was expecting it to be really great and while it still is, its not as great as I hoped. narayan, breathe and firestarter are great tracks tbh and the production is great as well, although the middle tracks for the most part especially with mindfields is pretty weak icl. still a great album tho

Joji - In Tongues
67

overhated as hell and pretty decent for the most part especially for a debut EP tbh although the second half does dip a bit in quality especially on bitter fuck which while overhated is still kinda mid tbh. still a decent EP tho and will he is a really good highlight tbh

SpaceGhostPurrp - Mysterious Phonk: The Chronicles of SpaceGhostPurrp
92

UR TELLING ME THAT THE SAME LABEL THAT HAD COCTEAU TWINS ALSO HAD PURRP AT ONE POINT??????? DAMN BRO THATS INTERESTING AS HELL.

anyways, this shit is underrated as hell and idc. the production is really great like usual, purrp's flow is mostly great as well and both osiris of the east and the outro raider prayer are especially insanely great tbh although its a bit samey at points and the middle especially been fweago is pretty weak to say the least (not to mention most of bro's ... read more

Demi Lovato - Unbroken
64

its alright ig but its kinda generic late 2000s pop alot of the time, especially in the first half with you're my only shorty being mid icl. the second half is better tho and there's even a couple good tracks like give your heart a break and for the love of a daughter but even then its still kinda generic for its time and there were just better pop albums in general compared to this. But its still alright tho

Japanese Breakfast - Soft Sounds From Another Planet
82

ngl, this is actually a little bit of a downgrade compared to their debut but its still really solid and still has some great tracks like diving woman and boyish icl. its just that the last couple of tracks kinda dip in quality a little bit and this house is kinda overrated as hell but even then, still a solid album regardless

大象體操 [Elephant Gym] - Angle
79

animal crossing ahh intro.

anyways, its some solid somewhat jazzy math pop like with dreams but better and really good for a debut tbh especially light. the intro despite how cute it is as well as head are kinda unnecessary to the album but even then its still really solid so idc

Bring Me The Horizon - That's The Spirit
83

thought the album cover was just them ripping of the neighbourhood but they weren't.

anyways, its pretty solid tho and the second half has some great tracks like avalanche and drown although true friends is pretty weak and the album in general sounds a bit more commercial sounding in my eyes. even then however, its still really solid regardless so idrc

Ultravox - Vienna
85

better than quartet and has a shit ton of classics like private lives and new europeans. mr. X is pretty weak tho and there were still some better new wave albums tbh but its still great regardless so idc

Fugazi - Steady Diet of Nothing
86

wouldn't say its as good as 13 songs tbh but its still great icl. It still has alot of great songs on it like reclamation and exit only although its slightly less memorable and has more weaker tracks like stacks. even then however, we got runaway return which is underrated as hell. its just a more weaker album compared to their other shit but its still great

Swords2 - Never See Me Again
64

it's alright ig but the vocals are weak Icl. there's is like one good track and that is in my head and that's really it tbh. the vocals are just weak and I'm not too much of a fan of emo rap in general and idk what else to say about it.

Beat Happening - Beat Happening
73

I mean it's kinda good ig but the audio quality in some of the tracks is kinda dogshit and it's a bit forgettable (not to mention the Spotify version being out of order in terms of the tracks for no reason whatsoever). there is a couple of standout good tracks like run down the stairs and foggy eyes and it does have some charm as well but that's it really tbh

Boards of Canada - Inferno
86

13 years later and we finally got a new boards of canada album and its great icl. the first half is a bit weak tho especially with somewhere right now in the future and acts of magic but by the second half it has really great shit like blood in the labyrinth, all reason departs and arena americanada so idrc. Overall, while its not as great as geogaddi obviously, its still one of the best albums of the year thus far and really worth the 13 year wait tbh

Meek Mill - Dreams and Nightmares
76

better than I thought tbh and its the same album that gave us the "I've been praying for times like this" image bro.

the production was really good, alot of the features are really good as well and both in god we trust and the title track are great icl. none of the other tracks are on the same level as those two tracks tho outside of maybe maybach curtains and its a bit bloated but even then its still fun as hell to listen to so idc

The Cars - Panorama
74

panorama is one of those albums where the first couple of songs are really solid but everything else falls flat afterwards. You wear those eyes is pretty weak icl and some of tracks do somewhat fit into generic early new wave territory but its still kinda good for the most part and even at its lowest its just ok. also, the title track is better than touch and go sorry not sorry

James Chance - James White's Flaming Demonics
82

its an interesting jazz dance punk album ig but idk what else to even say about james chance tbh. there's caravan / it don't mean a thing / melt yourself down which is great and bro also made boulevard of broken dreams before green day would about almost 2 decades earlier but what else??? rantin' and ravin' is a bit weak tho but even then its still solid but idk what else to say about it other than that. like tf is james chance even about man

Madonna - Madonna
83

really solid debut icl and aged mostly pretty well, especially burning up and the first couple of tracks in general tbh. Holiday is a little bit weak and slightly dated tho, along with the second half in general but even then there's physical attraction which while not as great as the first three tracks is still underrated as hell and even at its lowest its solid especially for a debut tbh so idc

GZA - Liquid Swords
91

compared to GZA's debut, this is leagues better and its not even close. The production is great, GZA's flow improved a ton, the features are great and the outro B.I.B.L.E is one of the best outro tracks of the 90s. Labels is a litte bit weak tho but even then its still great regardless so Idc
