I loved really the beats, the music production and overall sound scape is just, can't describe but so good. It has groove, layers to keep you intrested at any time, and is just overall very pleasant to the ear.
Rapping needs some work, it has quite a few moments where it sounds good or decent, but it can get deconcentrating or even annoying, especially when they seem to not fit a bit, and I'd say rapping makes these feel like it is a fun project, rather than something serious, it ... read more
Anyway, Loved it, it has that dark rap vibes which I love from artist like billy woods and earl sweatshirt, and you nailed these, I wish it was longer so I could say more, musically you seem to be very gifted, and I love how you experiment with each song, keep doing it and you will do something once, that is just you know THAT album, love it <3333
and sorry for the delay sunshine <333, but I do rarely visit this site recently, but hey I guess I made it, and I am happy you sent me these. ... read more
I just wish he would have gone more into this entire alter ego thing, and made a concept album that doesn't feel like it still aims at general audience. When you do a concept album, especially one that seems to dive into some personal or just real life issues, you have to give the album more soul, just sing what you want and what you feel, add anything that screams REAL YOU. If you don't feel what you sing about, just make a different album, there is no point making a concept album, ... read more
Loved, it’s a lovely mix of kpop, daft punk, Ariana grande, and it’s short enough for me to enjoy it entire way
I just loved it, hard to explain why, but I listened to it, in a beautiful scenery of the park, and the simplicity of the songs, made it all the more emotional, and expressive.
You can just enjoy it, songs always have something to offer, while still being simple, and I just adore it. I just love, how it feels so raw, and despite so many upbeat Melodie’s, it still feels somehow melancholic. This will be definitely my top summer album
Ps. can it be a bit more fucking windy? I already ... read more
First things first, I love the album cover, feels so polish, and as a polish guy, I love it haha
Anyway, first song while a bit repetitive, I did enjoy in someway, just a good intro to the album, and I love sometimes just a good old chill repetitive music, as long as it is done right.
Jungle fever - Did not enjoy the first 40 seconds, it just felt, uhm, well almost as if I was to get panic attack; but the rest of the song is sooooo goood, I loved it.
It had that, Afro pop, ska kind of ... read more
I love when people experiment with music, my autistic ass loves a lot of autistic sounds, and a lot of changes haha.
I was genuinely headbanging with untitled 09, such a fun song, funky and "roomy" sounds design makes it soooo good. I especially love the drum sound, with some percussion in the back ground, and I loved the beat switch at the end, although I wish it was a bridge and it made a comeback to some kind of "finale" but I still loved it all the way through, just ... read more
Brent, why did you do this to me :(
Now I will never see entire mastodon live :(
Death metal fans will have an entire, family of 4 meal with this record.
Yeah, I do enjoy melodic parts from previous albums, but this albums is just brutal as hell, and I love it for it. Riffs are killer, drummers is killing, as usual we barely hear bass, and growls are absolutely killing it.
This is a straight forward death metal album, with good song writing, amazing riffs, brutal drums, so yeah, if you love metal, you can’t miss it.
I am loosing sleep, so I don’t feel like writing much, but I loved it top to bottom.
I thought she was saying some dumb shit when she said she wanted to do something inspired by Nine inch nails but damn I somehow actually hear Trent sound here, just more pop sounding. I don’t hear much grunge and Radiohead, but I don’t really mind.
But yeah the album is pretty much everything I need from pop album, amazing production, very good vocals (which damn does she deliver) and ... read more
Had a lot of fun listening to this. A good mix of dirty and sludge rock, with a lot of catchy riffs. Vocals are a bit undelivered, he tries to sound like queens of the Stone Age a bit too much for my taste, but I can’t deny they do fit anyway.
But I still definitely stayed all the way for riffs. As I previously said, a perfect mix of sludge and classics rock. Also the sound of drums is amazing. More sludge bands should do similar mix, it is weirdly room sound like and has a lot of reverb ... read more
The album cover immediately caught my attention, so I had to listen to the album, and music didn’t disappoint although it has few problems
First song made me scared that we’d have children of bodom vocals mixed with katatonia x Opeth type of riffs, but thank god the second song immediately changes vocal style, makes me wonder if this is the same singer
I don’t want to repeat so I will say it again, whenever the COB type of vocals start, songs quality dips. I am sorry but ... read more
Didn’t expect my schizo, barely understandable reviews would give me 100 followers but here we are lol.
So to “celebrate” (I guess) I wanted to give a shout out to another small album, that I believe is simply fantastic
You can’t really miss when it comes to Swedish prog metal
This is an only six song long album, that stretches into 46 minutes but each song is just so well done, individual parts of the song blend so well into each other, maintaining the songs ... read more
I know this ain’t anything special, or like the most captivating music you will hear, but I just love the vibe of these songs.
It is a slow album listen, but I love to revisit single songs from this album a lot.
It’s hard to put a finger on THE thing that makes me love this, but it just feels as some movie soundtrack, like I can imagine this music play in the background while you have a live rpg session with your friends.
And I love the riffs.
But again, I never really visit the ... read more
I just found this album randomly and thought I gave it a shout out.
This is like if Baroness, Mastodon, and Opeth had a child, and I absolutely enjoyed it.
Riffs are massive, and have that melodic type of thing that baroness likes to do. A lot of musically experimental moments, were the artist blends a lot of sound to create a very specific ambient sound
Also drums, damn, are they tasty as hell.
This is just overall beyond solid piece of music and it absolutely deserves a shout out
A very fun album to listen to.
I love the blend of different styles to make that soundscape, every song feels so different and it makes it that much more fun to listen to.
I might have a soft spot for artist that use a lot of different instruments, but I just think this guy is a genius when it comes to connecting everything to create that sounds, that is very modern, but uses a lot of things that might make you think he is stuck in the 80s’ (in a good way)
To have this to listen to after ... read more
I love it, as a long time opeth fan, I can die peacefully if this is their last album (please do not be last)
Operas new era is a strange one for me, I don’t find myself coming back to newer albums, expect in cauda veneum, very underrated album.
I didn’t mind next album being similar to it, more prog rock, but hell when I heard first single, and Mike growled, I started jumping and fan girling like a swiftie.
And the rest of the album does not disappoint, it has that something that ... read more
A fun album, second half falls off for me but it is still very enjoyable.
Yes, it is messy, but it is a debut album, and this must have sounded very new, and to be honest still sounds very different from other bands. Gorillaz captured a sound no one DAREd to copy, and this started here.
I still can’t how people say this is bad. This is fucking amazing.
Banger riffs, very memorable, and strong choruses, Emily rocks, Mike raps again, I think I almost cried due to nostalgia. (And Chester is not even on the album, which speaks highly about this album)
Songs are short, but strong, a thing linking park usually does. Part of why these song hit so well, as if the flash run through you, slapped you and left.
Emily’s voice didn’t need to be Chester’s, she does ... read more
Would never except this from the cure. If not for Robert’s vocals, I’d never say this is the cure, but I will never say this is a bad thing. In fact this is so good, I feel sad this is their most likely last album.
It’s ambient, it’s sad, overall sounds like the last call, a last statement from the band. Robert smiths vocals are perfect for this, he sounds desperate to be hear for a last time, he actually calls out from the void of god knows how many years without an ... read more
