Bruce Springsteen - Open All Night (Nebraska Live)
94

“Electric Nebraska” is actually really good!

Madvillain - Madvillainy
96

Kept me interested the whole time. Peak abstract hip-hop. MF DOOM loves to say the most random crap at times and I love it! The theme of these mystical, larger than life villains is interesting and playful. Legend of a record.

Drake - ICEMAN
42

I guess I’m kind of late to the party for this review because I finally got the stomach to listen to this one. Holy crap it was bad. I guess there were some catchy hooks but none of the songs were really that good. I guess Kendrick was just too mean because Drake clearly has PTSD from 2024. 2 years ago BTW. 💔✌️

Eminem - The Marshall Mathers LP
87

The album kept contradicting itself. It was creepy but funny and real but over the top. It should’ve been a hard listen but it wasn’t. That’s what Em wanted though. “The Marshall Mathers LP” is a journey into Eminem’s consciousness and his thoughts whether they were disgusting, troublesome, or honest. The skits were a good way to keep the album connected as many rap albums around this time did like “The College Dropout” did. The skits ended up ... read more

Kanye West - Yeezus
81

It is a masterpiece, but it’s a B.

Frank Ocean - Blonde
94

I’m updating the rating because I listened to it at like 11:30 at night in my bed, lights off, both AirPods in and it was amazing. “Blond” continues to be one of the best albums I’ve heard.

Johnny Cash - At Folsom Prison
95

How could you not love it?

Chris Stapleton - Traveller
83

Loved the album but I find myself skipping some of these songs.

Bruce Springsteen - The Essential Bruce Springsteen
100

Couldn’t convince me to put it less. I adore all these songs.

James Taylor - Sweet Baby James
91

How in the hell could it be a 75? I can see the inconsistency but when every song is amazing that shouldn’t really matter that much. “Fire and Rain” was obviously the highlight and the reason I chose to listen to “Sweet Baby James”. But honestly, the song writing and instrumentals were great. The only song that was mediocre was “Oh Baby, Don’t Lose Your Lip On Me”. I listened with both AirPods in and eyes closed and they stuck with me so I guess ... read more

Bob Dylan - Highway 61 Revisited
97

Lyrics were absolutely incredible. Loved the albums start to finish. “Desolation Row” was a great song but it was so freaking long, that’s why I marked off three.

Bob Dylan - Blood on the Tracks
100

This was my first Dylan album and it was awesome! I can’t wait to listen to more as I know he has more influential albums just as good as this. I know that back in the day, people weren’t happy that he went electric but what I’ve heard from his folk stuff versus his rock stuff, the rock songs are better. Anyway, one of the best albums I’ve heard, so raw, real, and emotional.

Bruce Springsteen - Only the Strong Survive
72

Why are yall hating? It was honestly a very enjoyable album, sure, is voice wasn’t perfect for every song but that doesn’t make it bad. And also +1 for being better than some of his albums with his own songs (looking at you “Human Touch”).

Bruce Springsteen - Murder Incorporated
72

Not his best but it’s hard not to like it.

Darius Rucker - Homegrown
72

So it’s like a greatest hits or something?

DaBaby - BE MORE GRATEFUL
39

Utter garbage. It made me “more grateful” for other rappers like Kendrick Lamar or Frank Ocean and the art they produce through rap instead of just rapping about women doing very specific things for him. The one hit “POP DAT THANG” was annoying as hell and who allowed him to sample “Flashing Lights”? Album reminds me of “Vultures” by how disappointing it is. Can’t really suggest this one to any one ever. Probably worst album I’ve ... read more

"So glad to hear you love this one too! This is one of my favorites! In fact, I bought it at the record store today. Unfortunately, they didn’t have “Bridge Over Troubled Water” but I’m gonna keep looking so I can hear that perfect audio quality!"

"@freddiebarnes05 Yeah, that’s a fair point. And those same people glazing this one are usually the ones saying that Bruce and Dylan are boring. Like, how could they be boring? The song writing is so good!"

"It’s definitely super over rated but not a 60. You do make very good points and “Hallelujah” was the best song and that’s why I have the Leonard Cohen one on top 60 on top songs of all time because even the covers are outstanding."
