Pretty good, reminds me of My Chemical Romance in a way, but a bit more depressing lyrics, even though this isn't even classified as emo.
Listened to this about 3 times, everybody who goes on this website knows it is one of the greatest.
Edit: Listened to this about 100 times, made me cry and holy shit this is so fucking depressing
The whole album gets you pumped so much, some songs on here are better than "The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust".
The first range of songs during the start are really adrenaline pumping, and then throughout the second half, well, it's just the first half, but watered down a bit...
Certainly does feel like the album cover.
Many features in this album, from Snoopdog to somehow The National Music For Arabic Music? Not sure about that one... This album certainly does keep quite the retention with its collaborations with other artists, while also showing how sometimes the more simple music can be good. I felt like I was on holiday when listening to this, and I feel that was certainly one of the main goals of this album.
Yep... This is Aphex Twin.
Factually there is not that much wrong with this EP, for me the 3rd song stands out the most, with switches that pushes you to an almost astronomical environment. It's pretty entertaining and this would be a hell of an EP to learn to drum to, but I still think this would be more of an EP you would just put on as background music....
There is a reason why Aphex Twin's concerts feel really dystopian when you watch them.
Very good album, emotions are very clear and creepy and feels a bit disturbing at times if you're into that. Big distortions, and very unusual vocals, if you enjoy this you will like To Be Kind by Swans.
Listened to this in the car, the instrumentation is incredible and for such a long song with pretty much almost the same chord progression, it's very entertaining. I feel like a tree.
This is really nice. That's what I feel like saying to this album.
I was on the toilet when listening to this, didn't really get bored at all, I do feel like Tyler is better a backing vocals though, I'm not a fan of autotune but sometimes Tyler could have used it...
This album's songs feel like stars getting brighter and brighter and fading again, and I feel some sort of nostalgia as well, the rhythm is good the production, there is no place for lyrics really. I feel the audio sections are kind of pointless through during Storm though.
Kind of all feels, the same, and the lyrics don't really make it fun, all the lyrics are kinda just.. boring. .
This album ruined my day, its more of a movie than an album I feel, if you like this you will definitely enjoy Black Star by David Bowie. Some of the imagery especially on All Lined Up makes you feel fucked up, but everyone knows you're more fucked up than me.
This album is great and constantly creates a story that is added on to more and more at the end of its song. It breaks the 4th wall quite a bit.
When it pointed out critics I feel someone must have been very surprised, and it was very nice the way it was fluctuating between emotions in songs and really made it entertaining and gave a break from the emotions by doing that. However, I don't like how they point out the genre of music, it's just something I don't really enjoy.
The songs idea's are pretty easy to understand, and it really makes you feel scared and alone sometimes. I had a dream about this album the other night, and I was just crying to it and couldn't stop. That dream changed my perception of music, which was done because of this song, and it definitely helped me to understand the feelings of the artists when they create music. This album deserves to be up there as one of the greatest of all time.
This hits different when your body is drained and you're just tired, this album made me feel relaxed in every single song almost and then it just makes you widen your eye, especially when it switches Kristen Supine to Oxgen, this album is one of the best things ever.
Really entertaining and very varied music to make sure you are always listening. Lyrics match the instrumentation very well and my favourite songs are Exit Music for a film and paranoid android.
