Really well executed artpop album. Don’t see myself returning to it too often since the genre and style isn’t exactly my type, but for what it’s going for it really shines. The kind of album that is very obviously pop but still genuinely interesting. ”I Believe” might be the best pop song of the year so far.

Very very decent album, the highs are some of my favourites this year. It’s not the most consistent, but doesn’t overstay its welcome

Didn’t hook me in with the first few tracks, which i thought were nothing special. However, as the tracklist progresses, this album shows more intimate sides which i resonated with massively. One of the better albums i’ve heard this year so far.

I don’t know about this one. I understand the hype, but to me the intense shoegaze sounds less like i want shoegaze to sound, and more like those obnoxious EDM/Dubstep-drops from 2014 FIFA montages. Couldn’t get into it for that reason alone. Production is stellar, vocals are alright. Just can’t get into it due to personal association.
