Playboi Carti - MUSIC

it's actually real like actually real this time no pump faking

Actual thoughts: this is clearly rushed to some degree. The mixing rivals CHERRY BOMB for "levels of overblown." It's fairly padded, but being 5 years in the making, it's more understandable.

Carti needs to pull a Life Of Pablo and rework some tracks. If he did, it would easily be one of his best projects. Is it worth a *5* year wait? No. Is it still a solid, fun project? Yeah. The problem is that it was ... read more

Tyler, The Creator - CHROMAKOPIA

I'm.... conflicted. CHROMAKOPIA is a very obviously good album, but much like CMIYGL, something isn't resonating with me. Maybe it's just my preference for Tyler's more "hardcore" tracks, but I just didn't get as much from this project as I thought. It's excellent and beautifully put together, but me personally, I don't see myself coming back to this one as much as his other albums.
