Actual thoughts: this is clearly rushed to some degree. The mixing rivals CHERRY BOMB for "levels of overblown." It's fairly padded, but being 5 years in the making, it's more understandable.

It's a fair better listen than the sprawling listen that was TTPD, so there's that. Ultimately, upbeat and pop-centric Taylor isn't new by any means, but the existence of tracks thay have drums is a welcome return.

I'm.... conflicted. CHROMAKOPIA is a very obviously good album, but much like CMIYGL, something isn't resonating with me. Maybe it's just my preference for Tyler's more "hardcore" tracks, but I just didn't get as much from this project as I thought. It's excellent and beautifully put together, but me personally, I don't see myself coming back to this one as much as his other albums.
