this is a sign of societal collapse, I just can't prove how
It's a fair better listen than the sprawling listen that was TTPD, so there's that. Ultimately, upbeat and pop-centric Taylor isn't new by any means, but the existence of tracks thay have drums is a welcome return.
The fatal flaw is repetition. Granted, songs like "Father Figure" and "The Fate of Ophelia" offer just enough to keep the album from being a total slog, even if the writing has still taken some noticeable hits such as on songs like "Eldest ... read more

Actual thoughts: this is clearly rushed to some degree. The mixing rivals CHERRY BOMB for "levels of overblown." It's fairly padded, but being 5 years in the making, it's more understandable.
Carti needs to pull a Life Of Pablo and rework some tracks. If he did, it would easily be one of his best projects. Is it worth a *5* year wait? No. Is it still a solid, fun project? Yeah. The problem is that it was ... read more
I'm.... conflicted. CHROMAKOPIA is a very obviously good album, but much like CMIYGL, something isn't resonating with me. Favorite Track: Rah Tah Tah
Least Favorite: Judge Judy

Well, the "bit of a slog" part was entirely right. If Vultures 1 felt like taking the most middling and mediocre parts of Donda and stretching them out to a full album, Vultures 2 is Ye scraping the ... read more
The weakest parts of Eminem's post 2020 albums has been when he's done the whole "Gen Z is CANCELING me 😡" routine (despite being one of the biggest rappers of all time)
So, as expected, an ENTIRE ALBUM of "cancel culture is trying to take me down" winds up average at best.
Edit: After about a month, there's just... not much left. The concept, while I enjoy on paper, is not fully realized and at times seems completely absent despite the album insisting ... read more
