"Leaper" by Stickerbush
This was my first IDM album I have listened to and I don't think this genre is quite for me. The album isn't terrible its just not the kind of thing I would listen too. I do think there are interesting ideas on this album but I do think they could of been done slightly better. I do think the production is fine it is just kind of boring on some of the songs and sometimes it can be kind of annoying. Again I don't think this album is for me. ... read more
"BE VERY AFRAID (Vol. 1)" by CHASE B
I just wanna say this mixtape is not horrible but it is very boring and its not good. I will say however I do think the production throughout this mixtape is decent. To be honest the production is probably the best part of the entire project. Most of the features on this thing were fine for the most part I do think "Sheck Wes" was the best feature on the whole Mixtape in my opinion. But mostly this mixtape is just... "Meh" ... read more
"God Save the Three" by glaive & kurtains
i am going to be honest I expected something completely different than what we got here. From the few snippets/previews I have heard from glaives other projects I was expecting more of a digicore/electropop sound but instead we got a bit of indie and singer-songwriter here instead with a bit of digicore/electropop mixed in there. I found this collab album fine nothing amazing but nothing absolutely horrible. I do think I will try glaives ... read more
"brand new eyes" by Paramore
This is probably one of the best rock albums I have ever heard. The vocals the instrumentation are all absolutely amazing. The first 5 tracks is one of the best 5 track runs I have probably ever heard. Each song is so instrumentally rich and and the vocals from Haley Williams are just stunning all throughout the album. I am usually not the biggest fan of "Punk" music but this was honestly amazing and a really pleasant surprise for me. The vocal ... read more
"Stardust" by Danny Brown
This is a completely different angle Danny has gone with his music with this album being a Hyper-pop and Experimental Hip-Hop album. The features on this album killed it for almost all of the songs notably I think "underscores" had the best features on the album. The production on this album is decent but there are some songs where the production is just not great in my opinion anyways. I do think the production is all over the place however in a ... read more
"ALL ROADS LEAD HOME" by Central Cee
The most recent EP from UK rapper Central Cee and... it is not good.
All of the beats/the production just sounds the same and the 2 features on the EP are just not that good if I am going to be honest. I feel like if you played me two of the songs of this project I would just ask if you played the same two songs for me.

"Faces" by Mac Miller
I was nervous to start listening to this project purely because of the length. However, I can confidently say it is worth the experience to listen to this mixtape. The psychedelic/jazz/synth production of this mixtape made it soothing to listen to and I really appreciated that the production made it feel like the lyrics could take front and centre stage throughout this entire project. Mac Miller's flows on this mixtape were really nice and enjoyable to ... read more
“HALO” by Tiffany Day
It is a fine album. It is typical hyperpop/electro-pop. If I’m being honest I feel like they could have shortened the track list and stretched the length of some songs. I also think most the songs sound too similar. However I do not think this is a bad album necessarily.

“Luminescent Creatures” by Ichiko Aoba
This is one of the most calming, soothing and beautiful albums I have listened to. I am genuinely not sure how I can describe it but I will try to here. If I was to visualise this album into a scene it would be like this. “Lying down on a nice day next to a little flowing river” That’s really the best way I can describe this album.

“Flower Boy” by Tyler, the Creator
This in my opinion is a really good summer album. The production was amazing on this album as well as Tyler’s rapping. The best way I can describe the production is “like a summer cloud” of course there is some hard hitting tracks but overall this was a very enjoyable album.

“It’s been awful” by Isaiah Rashad
This is a nice Jazz rap album from Isaiah Rashad about 5 years after his last album. This is also my first introduction to Isaiahs music and I am not disappointed. The sound of this album is smooth. That’s the best way to describe it really. After this I definitely need to check out his other stuff.

I didn't hate this album but it wasn't mind blowing for me either. I liked the Drum & Bass elements of the album however for me the electronic aspect kind of spoils it not entirely but to me anyways it just feels spiky and piercing for some of the songs especially the first 2 tracks. I like the more D&B/breakcore songs of the album. I do think this is a decent album however I just don't see myself returning to it that often to ... read more
“Paranoid” by Black Sabbath
This is an amazing metal/rock album definitely one of the best albums I have heard especially in the metal genre. This was my first Black Sabbath album and if this is the quality of the rest of their discography I definitely will be returning to their music.

"The Great Divide" by Noah Kahan
Going into this album I was a bit worried because of the length of the album. However, as a first impression of Noah's music this was a pleasant surprise by how much I had enjoyed it. The albums overall softness from the instrumentals to the vocals was really nice. It was a really soothing album. The whole album is kinda like this just a nice and soothing folk pop and stomp & holler album. I do think the album is a bit long and kind of ... read more
"Doll Online" by Clark Rainbow
This is a nice short little hyper-pop/dance-pop EP that is overall a very good listen. My 2 only real complaint is that I wish the EP was longer as well as some songs do sound a bit too similar in production (but that might just be because I haven't listened to that much hyper-pop). However that doesn't take away the fact the production is quite good as well. Overall I will be looking at listening to more hyper-pop albums/EP's in the ... read more
"black british music (2025)" by Jim Legxacy
This is a nice little mixtape by Jim that has emotional themes while still having good lyrics, production and flows. This is definitely probably one of the better albums from a UK artist that I have listen to in a long time. I do feel some songs can maybe be a tad longer (even by like 5 seconds) but that is being a bit nitpicky. This was a really pleasant listen for me and this makes me interested in his future releases.

"M.I.7" by M.I.A.
I genuinely don't know what to say... This was awful. It was boring as a whole. The song "CIRCLES" might be one of the worst songs I have heard this year (Possibly the worst). Everything on this "Album" (If you even want to call it one) feels so forced. Along with the 30 minutes of silence at the end of the "Album" with the last 3 minutes being a "Song" to me feels like M.I.A. just put it there to pad out the album more. ... read more
"Your Favorite Toy" by Foo Fighters
It is just an really middle of the road album there are some songs that are bearable but then there are some tracks that are just annoying (such as the title track "Your Favorite Toy") but I don't think this album is complete garbage there were some songs that were actually quite good but for the majority of it this album is just meh. In my opinion, most of the songs sound the same. I really don't have anything else to say ... read more
"Circle Of Despair" by Shinyflvres
This was the first Drum & Bass album I have ever listened to and I was not disappointed in the slightest. The best way I can describe this albums production is "ethereal". Along with the vocaloid sections of some of the songs really added to the entire album. The main gripe I have with this album is the length of the album. Tbh the length of the album isn't that bad because the substance of the songs are worth it to listen to the ... read more
"MMXX" by Eskimo/Electric Callboy
This is a short 20 minute EP from the band (Now known as) Electric Callboy and it is fine for what it is. The production on this EP is probably the best part being a trancecore, metalcore production made for a nice little listen. However, the biggest downside for me personally is the vocals sometimes they are fine sometimes they are good but sometimes they are just annoying. This wasn't a bad EP so to say but it could of been better.
