Bruno Mars - The Romantic

"The Romantic" By Bruno Mars

This is Bruno's first solo project in around 10 years and the second Bruno Mars album I have listened to. He is giving us a pop soul/disco album that is quite a mixed bag. In my opinion, I think Bruno really does have the capabilities to make an album with this blend of genres. I think this was a good attempt at it. I think if he is able to just refine his sound just a little bit he might be able to make a really good pop soul/disco album. ... read more

ISSBROKIE - SWAGGOT!

“Swaggot” by Issbrokie

This is the First Brokie album I’d ever listened to so I didn’t really know what I was getting into. The first half of the album not going to lie is kind of boring nothing really stuck out to me. However, after the second skit it picked up in quality majorly which boosted my rating quite a lot. The first half is meh the second half is straight fire though in my opinion.

Kendrick Lamar - GNX

“GNX” by Kendrick Lamar

This album is very special to me for one reason the day it came out I was overall having a bad day I felt tired the entire day then dinner time came around and I was scrolling YouTube and noticed that Kendrick had uploaded a video teasing his next album. Which already made my day better. Then I check his channel and noticed there were new songs and I was hype I instantly listen to the album and it made my day . Tones And I - Welcome To The Madhouse

“Welcome to the Madhouse” by Tones an I

The singer of the worldwide hit “Dance Monkey” Tones and I released their album and it is… Horrible. I didn’t get any enjoyment while listening to this album. I genuinely can’t think of a single positive thing to say about this project. The production is just plain bad and annoying like you actually need to try and make an album sound this bad it is actually impressive.

Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory

“Hybrid Theory” by Linkin Park

I just want to start this review of by saying that I am not normally the biggest fan of “Metal” music this is because I usually find it too overwhelming for myself.
Saying that this is one of the best albums I have ever heard. I was actually surprised with how good this album is and how much I enjoyed it. The instrumentals on this album are just going crazy while the rapping and singing go hard as well. Most of the songs are actually ... read more

Nathan Evans - 1994

“1994” by Nathan Evan

Nathan Evan’s is someone I had known about for a long time due to their song “Wellerman” being one of my personal favourite songs of all time. I noticed he had a new album out so one day I checked it out and was pleasantly surprised with what I heard. This is a soft pop album with hints of sea shanties in there but only slightly but it overall makes for a very easygoing and easy listening album.

Chance the Rapper - The Big Day

“The Big Day” by Chance The Rapper

Wow… that’s all I can think of wow this is certainly an album. But not a good album just an incredible boring and bland album with goofy lyrics. I will admit however this is the first and only Chance project I have listened to so I need to check out his other material but this was not a good first impression. However I am willing to give him a second chance.

“Demon Days” by Gorillaz

This was the first project I had listen to from the Gorillaz purely because my mother had mentioned it so I decided to check it out. The variety of this album makes for an intriguing listen especially for the blend of genres “mainly alt rock, art pop, hip hop and trip hop”. I was honestly not expecting to enjoy this album as much as I did but here we are with it being one of my top 5 favourite albums of all time.

Connor Price - About Time

“About time” by Connor Price

Child actor and rapper Connor Price comes out with his debut album after dropping over 100 singles and a couple EPs and Mixtapes. In my opinion this is a really enjoyable listen Connor shows us that he is a fully capable rapper and shows how much his skills have improved over the years. Imo one of the craziest things on this album are the features I mean Big Sean and Idris Elba that is just cool. Granted I didn’t really enjoy the song with Idris ... read more

Lil Mabu - YOUNG GENIUS

“Young genius” by Lil Mabu

The title indicates that Mabu is a genius but if he was he would have realised that this album is awful and to not release it. But he released it…
It is just really boring trap/drill music and the gimmick that Mabu was trying to pull of as a “Rich white kid who has a secret gang life” / “I’m a rich kid who is rapping like I am from the streets” just doesn’t do it for me. If I’m being honest I really ... read more

“Samurai” by Lupe Fiasco

This is the first piece of Lupe media I have really interacted with and the only thing I knew about Lupe is that he did Jazz rap.
When I finished this project I was left very happy that I decided to listen to the album and if this is the level of quality Lupe has had I am gonna need to check out some of his past work because this was really nice.

"Kikuo Miku" By Kikuo

This was kind of my introduction to Kikuo's music I've known about them for a bit but I decided to check out their discography starting with this one. I was not disappointed in the slightest this is genuinely one of the best pieces of Vocaloid media I have ever heard in my life. The bouncy production really makes this album a unique listen and I think this is one of my favourite albums of all time.

"U" by underscores

The first project by underscores I have listened to and I am pleasantly surprised. I am not gonna lie going into this album I was expecting something a lot more in your face with the instrumentals but that was not the case and it became a really interesting listen for me imo. The instrumentals have a really nice groove to them which makes the songs quite catchy and nice. The vocals also were very pleasant to listen to over the instrumentation.

“early life crisis” by Nettspend

Nettspend? More like Nett “didn’t” spend enough time in the studio before publishing this.
Seriously what the hell is this? To me all the songs sound the same tbh. You know you are cooked when bloody YoungBoy has the best verse on your album. This album sounds incredibly repetitive especially with the repeat of lyrics in some songs. I wanna say that you can make a song good with repetitive lyrics but this is not how you do it. “The Dichotomy” by David Kushner

David Kushner comes out with his debut project after his smash hit of a song “Daylight” and at the time it was my most anticipated album of all time and I can safely say he delivered. After an 8 year wait and like 2 or 3 kids idk.
This is an actually decent record by Rocky this is my first A$AP Rocky album I’ve listened to but if this is the quality of it I am kind of exited to check out the rest of his discography. I also want to say I think the song “STFU” is over hated I like the aggressive of the song quite a bit.

This is the first J.Cole album I have listened to so I don’t really have anything to base it off of but for what it is worth it is. The Fall Off feels like a final album in someone’s discography. For what it’s worth this is a album that was overhyped to hell but in my opinion the album… it is ok nothing special imo but there are some good songs on here wether it be the smooth flows or the storytelling there is something for ... read more

“Strictly 4 The Scythe” by The Scythe

Denzel Curry has created a new supergroup known as “The Scythe” this comes after his album “MMESYF”.
Going into this album I didn’t know what to expect but when I finished I was left with a mixed bag of an album which had ever so slightly higher highs than lows but nothing spectacular. Still a decent listen though with Denzel going off.

“CRASHDUMMIEZ” by Issbrokie & blckk

Look I wanted to like this album especially since Brokie’s last project is one of my favourite of the year but this album doesn’t really do anything for me. For me personally some of the songs are way too noisy if that makes sense and it just makes some songs unpleasant to listen to for me. But there were still some good tracks here.

Gorillaz - The Mountain

“The Mountain” by Gorillaz

Quite possibly my most anticipated album of 2026 and did they deliver?
I can say they certainly did. This is one of the best records I have heard in a while. The Indian influence on this album makes it a really unique listen imo. The themes of the album revolving around death and having a-bunch of people who have passed away on this album to me feels like they are trying to bridge the gap between life and death with this album.
