happy easter everyone
Can’t top When the Kite String Pops for me but that’s not to say this isn’t also BANGING
Took a re-listen in honor of the first snowfall over here, still absolutely beautiful
how can something so cold sound so warm?
Decided to bump this up to a 100 after a re-listen a few days back, this is an album that’s meditative in a way I’ve struggled to find in many other works
ever since that first listen I’ve been addicted to its transcendental sound and I don’t think I’m getting tired of it anytime soon
very much enjoyed this as an album, just feel the need to say: fuck you alexis. abusive scum
Listened to this one whirl on a school trip in Nashville, Tennessee, and Like A Rolling Stone in particular really affected me. Captures that feeling of being on your own for the first time, even if it’s only a few days for me. I’m surprised I’ve been able to handle it this well, but part of me really does feel scared to be so far from home, my family and friend group
Beautiful album btw
Super atmospheric, makes me feel like I’m sitting in a center-city cafe at 4 AM, practically alone with the exception of the staff. Outside the metro speeds by, disrupting the peace if but for a moment
Only real complaint I have is some of the tracks started sounding kinda repetitive when compared to one another, but still, the rhythms really scratch an itch in my brain
