I have no nostalgia for this album, but I saw “oh it’s the Fireflies album” and decided to give it a go. While a lot of the tracks are mid, there are a few gems - Fireflies, The Saltwater Room (the big standout), Cave In, and Vanilla Tonight - that keep me interested. This was a lot better than I thought it would be, and certainly a huge step up from shitty bands like AJR and the middle-class white guys trying to emulate the feeling of this record.

Well here it is. One of my all time favorite records that also features my favorite album cover. A nearly perfect post-punk album that, in my opinion, blows any other album like it out of the water.
