Chat Pile - This Dungeon Earth
73

Crawlspace cums but I honestly wasn’t feeling this one as hard as their second EP

$uicideboy$ - I No Longer Fear the Razor Guarding My Heel
71

The only project from them that I have ever liked. Solid beats and good flows.

Chelsea Smile is one of the best metalcore bangers ever. The album itself is one of the albums ever made.

Ecco2k - E
92

Beautiful album that I cry to at least once a listen

I love this project so much

Royal Trux - Twin Infinitives
95

Look okay. I’m not going to Scaruffi dickride this as one of the greatest projects ever made. I also won’t simply dismiss this record as meaningless nonsense garbage made by a talentless hack, like many other people seem to be doing.

The album is mostly constructed of seemingly random sounds, generic late 80s drumkit samples, grinding and dissonant guitars, and piano chords from hell. The vocals are compressed and muffled as though they took the Varg approach and purposefully ... read more

Green Day - American Idiot
68

Eh. It’s okay I guess. Jesus of Suburbia is far longer than any Green Day track I can think of, but surprisingly enough it’s one of their best tracks. The other Prime Cuts (Holiday, Boulevard of Broken Dreams, Wake Me Up When September Ends) keep me from rating it any lower, despite all the filler whatever songs that I would otherwise skip over.

Green Day - Dookie
78

Expected this to suck upon revisiting it after all this time. While it has quite a few filler songs, the singles manage to piece it together well enough that I actually really enjoyed the album as a whole.

Green Day still sucks tho

Harm A. Drost - Speech After the Removal of the Larynx
100

Injection *urerprpp* basic sound *BUUURRRRP*

foxtails - fawn

Fantastic riveting emo music tinged with dissonant and dreamy post-rock soundscapes. Loved it all the way through. Came in with no expectations and left satisfied.

明日の叙景 [Asunojokei] - アイランド [Island]
90

One of my (new) all time favorite blackgaze albums. Reminds me heavily of the screamo of the late 90s and early 2000s. Danceable and neurotic, fantastic mixing, lots of fun.

88->90 it's so fucking good

Dinosaur Jr. - You're Living All Over Me
98

i wonder what music dinosaur sr makes

Whitehouse - Mummy and Daddy
NR

Nobody I have ever recommended this album to has ever sat down and actually listened to it. They often stop at the album cover itself, and almost no one makes it more than a few minutes in .I doubt I will ever convince a single person to try this thing out.

Which sucks. because it's one of the best noise albums ever conceived.

Whitehouse - Bird Seed
70

angry british man screams at me i'm scared i want my mom
