What can I say, good raps and good beats. Yes, I do at times ask for more from these tracks, but for the most part it's a pretty solid project all the way through.
82/100
Although I am not totally in love with it, I will say this is an album that everyone should listen to once. This is some of the most intense, insane, wild, confusing, and rule-breaking music I have ever heard. It really doesn't give a fuck about anything and it bends what I thought I could consider to be music. Yeah some of these songs are misses, but when it hits it hits hard. The constant left fieldness of these songs gives the term "experimentation" a whole new meaning. This ... read more
Pretty solid record from Armand Hammer. The alchemist brings heat, per usual. And it's just a great listen all round.
It’s albums like this that people use as benchmarks in musical history, and it also just so happens to be fantastical enjoyable. I’m feeling a… decent to strong “yeah it’s funny” on this thing.
(Dont go into this album expecting a masterpiece, just have fun with it)
hell yes
It's a shame that this album went under so many radars, because it kicks ass. Such a fun listen and every song throws in new elements to where each track stands outs from eachother. I really see this becoming one of those albums where, in the future, people will look back and realize how underated this thing is. Because this album is a modern day classic and its a shame that no one is really talking about it.
it is instrumentally stunning to say the least. The instrumentation ... read more
Danny in his pop eraaaa
"Stardust" is here! And it's almost as glorious as I wanted it to be. On this record, we see Danny approaching a much more EDM-style of rap, sort of what we heard on "Old". But I feel as if this is what danny has always wanted to be. Seeing the hype and lead-up danny gave to this record, and how just excited he looks about it, I was really excited. Im glad that Danny's passion for music has come back and he is making music that he is happy ... read more
Not even depression itself could conjure something with the same amount of agony this thing has.
'Solace" by Earl Sweatshirt was a surprise, out-of-the-blue single/EP that was released back in 2015. No promotion, no ads, Earl rarely even these days talk about the project, and it wasnt even released to Earl's official YouTube page. It was just dropped, and that was it. And by reading the description under the video, "music from when I hit the bottom and found ... read more
sooooooooooozefest am I right? (just jokes)
Sorry, I just don't really get it. I thought it was ok, but it is really inconsistent, especially tracks 2-5. Which sucks because the intro is fantastic. But I guess it's just not my kind of music. Still thought there were good moments though. But less talking, and let's break this jawn down.
The singing is good, and I think the singing is the best part. Daniel's voice is fucking gorgeous, and the same with the features on here. ... read more
Oh yeah im freddie gibbs yeah bitch im freddie gibbs my name is freddie gibbs watch me drop and almost damn near perfect hip-hop record while also confessing to multiple felonies.
“Pinata” in my opinion, is one of the most essential hip-hop records of the 2010’s, and mabey this century so far. It solidified freddie gibbs as the real deal, a force to be reckoned with, and a real ass dude. And only further grew the legend of madlib, certifying his legend status in the producer ... read more
“LP! (Offline)” is the ultimate display of JPEGMAFIA's producer and rapper talent. Some of the most creative hip-hop songs I have heard all decade land on here. Banger after banger land on here and its consistency is just amazing.
The rapping, first of all is just great. Peggy and the features really display some fantastic talent. Switching in between his hard-hitting flows, and his signature singing slithered in autotune. This album feels like the ultimate buffet for ... read more
Danny absolutely kills it, but the chorus is sort of ass if I’m being honest. Still really excited for the album
I am convinced that this man has superpowers.
“Because the Internet” is the second album from Donald Glover, or his stage name “Childish Gambino”, and it is definitely something. The 19 tracks and 57 minutes of runtime this thing has put Gambino's talent on total display. As a songwriter, producer, rapper, and even a singer. And while yes, it does get pretty bloated at moments, there are still a lot of tracks that will stick with you long after listening.

Just a fun time.
“Floss” is the 3rd and final mixtape Injury Reserve would release before they started working on their full-length LPs, and it's a pretty fun time. A lot of hard-hitting party anthems, ridiculously catchy sampling work, and a secret lesson hiding within it on “How To Flex”.
The production, first of all, is pretty good. Granted, I'm not big on the opening track, (even though everyone else is), but I still love most of the production on here. ... read more
100 reviews!
(skip to the end if you wanna hear me yap about my appreciation.)
"Getting Killed" is my album of the year so far. It is a drop-dead gorgeous piece of music that literally any person can find enjoyment is, I truly think it's impossible for some to dislike this album. Its a collection of music that just does everything right, and while doing that, puts its predecessors to shame,
The production is magical. Whether the bumping and adrenaline-rushing atmosphere of ... read more
It's boring, tasteless, and often embarrassing. Also, that album cover is complete dogshit.
Before this album was released, it was already breaking records. It became the most pre-saved album on Spotify in history, with over 6 million saves. Also, in the first 11 hours of this thing dropping, it would become the most-streamed album in a single day so far in 2025. So yeah, a lot of people were highly anticipating this release. And now that it's out, and I have listened to it, I can ... read more
