NOTM:
Wow this is weird, like really weird, but that’s what makes it so good. It’s death grips doing their thing, being different and making the listener confused. And it works so well on almost every track. Although it’s one of their shorter records, and all 8 tracks have bjork samples. They are still able to fit in all of their characteristics that make them unique. And the ending of “Billy Not Really” is really beautiful.

Although it was an enjoyable listen, there were tracks I liked. This thing sorta feels like every other indie rock album. And It feels a little copy-pasted at times. But overall I did enjoy it.

Pretty good, but not the best. Some tracks get repetitive, but most are extremely solid. Although NOTM is a better listen for me. There is still a lot to appreciate about this record, especially the tracks like “On GP” and “Turned Off”. If you appreciate Noise Rock, you will find yourself really enjoying record

RANDOM ALBUM NUMBER GENERATOR SPIN 8. Number 3: Government plates - Death Grips. 2014
93/100
This thing has some bangers, but a couple tracks got too out of control . Tracks like “Birds” and “ I’m Overflow” seem to get a bit too out of hand. But overall, this thing slaps, way too over-hated. Not my favorite from the grips. But far from the worst. This and “Year of the Snitch” are the toughest albums from them to get into. But I think that once you get ... read more
RANDOM ALBUM NUMBER GENERATOR SPIN 7. Number 34: No Love Deep Web - Death Grips 2012
95/100
40 minutes straight of loud, abrasive, hardcore hiphop. It's amazing. Whole thing sounds futuristic in a way. Mc Ride sounded like he was out for blood on here. And Zach Hill and Andy Morin playing like there's no tomorrow. Although it's not nearly as great as "The Money Store", and I don't really care for the track "Pop" all that much, this record is still ahead ... read more
RANDOM ALBUM NUMBER GENERATOR SPIN 6: Number 10: Channel orange - Frank ocean. 2012
94/100
It’s Fantastic. But a little overrated.
Music wise. This thing is detailed to the core. Using heavy themes of nostalgia of a teenager as the main theme. But some tracks go in for a little too long. I mean I love pyramids. One of my favorite on the record. But does it need to be 9 minutes long?, no.
Other than that this thing is great. So many memorable tracks. The use of different instruments on ... read more

93/100
What do I need to say that hasn’t been said already. It’s a classic. It’s hella influential, it’s illmatic. But there isn’t a whole lot going on. Yes it has deep lyrics, and good beats. But that’s it. But don’t get it wrong. This thing is still really good and pathed the way for boom bap.

RANDOM ALBUM NUMBER GENERATOR SPIN 4. Number 12. Atrocity Exhibition - Danny brown 2016.

Yeah, I understand the hype now, it's really great. Such a big step up from "Old". Lyrics and the ideas in general on this album are so so so good and much more mature.
Each song has a distinct taste. Rather its the eariness of "Aint it Funny". Or the variety of different instruments on "Tell me what I don't know".
Yeah, this was awesome. Without a doubt ... read more

it's so good. And so tragic at the same time
Mac's overall singing on here is just great. I could Really tell mac was trying to go for something life changing. And it feels like it. And Jon Brion's instrumental work is great. Giving the beats way more character and care. The guitar flows and drum beats on here are so so so beautiful.

RANDOM ALBUM NUMBER GENERATOR SPIN 2. Number 6: OK Computer. Radio head 1997
93/100
Radiohead are the kings of experimental rock. And this is the record that proves it. Now although it’s not perfect. There are a couple underwhelming flows. The other Amazing flows almost completely cancel them out. The guitar work, percussion beats, And Tom’s vocals play a big part in that. Overall a really Great and Fantastic record.

Why isn’t this guy popular already. And also, why aren’t their more tracks. These instrumental are really really great. If he drops a full length album I would be more than pleased to listen to it. I am really Loving the percussion work on here. This is the music that is perfect to have in the background. Rather that be studying, working, cleaning, or just relaxing. 83/100
RANDOM ALBUM NUMBER GENERATOR SPIN 1. Number 16: donuts. J dilla

This is a mixed bag of jazz, funk, disco beats that constantly had my head bopping throughout listening. But at the same time felt a little let down when the tracks are only 1-1:50 minutes long. But don’t get it wrong, the production on this is pure wizardly.
When the only major problems with your record are that the tracks aren’t long enough, that’s when you know you have some true talent.

I have been putting off this review for a little bit because I didn't know how I 100% truly felt about this. I have always liked this album, like a lot. But then remember something I didn't like about it. I go back and forth multiple times to get my pinpoint accurate opinion on this. And after a couple more listens I have made up my mind. This is my personal favourite Tyler album. Let's be real, this album isn't perfect. I'm not gonna call it a "The money ... read more
I have never felt fear with an record. This record actually scared me at points. I constantly felt like there was someone or something behind me when listening to this. But overall great. A really great record. And since it’s probably gonna be a bit before we get another full length dg album. They left with a positive note. 92/100. Schoolboy Q proves himself as a true talent with his second studio album “Habits and Contradictions”. His unique “Do it your own way“ rapping over the modern and old beats is simply great. With standout tracks like “Hands on the Wheel” “Sacrilegious” and “Druggys wit hoes again” truly enhance this album. I love to comeback to this album every once in a while and it never disappoints.
