RE-REVIEW (fixed some errors)
Original score : 75 New score: 90
Yes Michael Gira, you are in fact a tower
(also my longest review ever)
Swans, (this modern era at least), have left with a bang. “Birthing” is apparently gonna be the last “big sound” swans album. Which is sad but at the same time I have to respect it. If Gira wants to hang up the guitars and microphones now, go right ahead. The legacy he has left on rock music and music in general is pretty legendary. The ... read more
My first REAL negative review and rating
Even in Arcadia is the 4th studio album from the anonymous rock band Sleep Token. Who have been absolutely crushing it recently number-wise. People really love them for some reason, I just don't really see the reason why people love them, especially on this album.
This album was boring and dull and often had me wondering, "When is this gonna end?". The really only redeeming factors are the drumming and some of the guitars. And I will ... read more
Accidentally deleted my original review and rating :(
Anyways, this shit is pure gas. If hitting your elbow on the edge of a table was a mixtape, it would be this one. This is nonstop batshit insanity track 1 to track 13. It feels like MC Ride gets demonic on some of these vocal performances. And the production is fantastic, Andy and Zach absolutely nail it on here.
I remember listening to this album for the first time, I couldn't do it. I got like 25% through the way of one song and ... read more
"Yo, yo, yo, your bitch just said I'm hot, man, I told her I agree
She gon' really think I'm hot if I told her my degrees" is one of my favourite bars of all time.
LIVE.LOVE.A$AP is the debut mixtape from the New York rapper and producer A$AP Rocky. Who helped pioneer the cloud rap sub-genre in the early 2010s with help from other rappers like Lil B and Yung Lean. This mixtape is a mixed bag for me. You get some really great songs, and also some songs that just feel ... read more
An emotionally devastating and beautifully moving album.
Deathconsciousness is the debut album from post-rock, post-punk, shoegaze, and experimental rock band Have a Nice Life. The band only consists of two members, Dan Barrett and Tim Macuga. Which is important to talk about because of the music on here. This music is, well. This music is art, simple. This album is fantastic. It's so, so, so great. It really hits you, and it hits you deep. It makes you its bitch. I really wanted to give ... read more
I am really about to give Indicud a better score than this, wow.
So uh, I wasn't big on this. It was just not super interesting for me. The singing didn't connect with me like it did for other people. I just thought it was okay for the most part, nothing fantastic, but nothing bad. Instrumentally wise, it left me a little disappointed. I was hoping for something fantastic and to change my view on music forever. But instead I was left asking myself, "Is that it?". And ... read more
I don't get the hate, Overall, i thought this was pretty good.
Indicud is the third studio album from the legendary and influential rapper Kid Cudi. Who can best be described as a one-of-a-kind artist. An artist who isn't afraid to take risks with his music. And who has such a creative mind when it comes to music production and rapping. And yeah, even if he isn't perfect, he has still made some pretty memorable music and albums, like this one.
This album just felt like classic ... read more
Yea I mean it’s decent. But it bit off more than it can chew in my opinion.

Hey, this was pretty good. Not gonna explain that artist or anything like that, it's Charli XCX, you already know who she is. Just gonna say that it was fantastic. She broke the boundaries of what I thought was possible for pop music. She is able to create this atmosphere and vibe around the album that just makes you feel, well, like a brat. Someone who doesn't care and acts out. This album was just banger after banger. So many energetic songs, as well as deep ... read more
If laying down on your bed at 2 am and staring at your ceiling was an album.
This album is one I have been dying to review forever but for whatever reason I kept forgetting to. But I'm finally here doing this. Freetown Sound is the third album from alternative R&B and Synth Funk artist Dev Hynes, aka Blood Orange. Freetown Sound is an album that is not scared. It goes over themes and topics of racism, sexism, love, and many others. Some pretty serious topics. But also takes us on a ... read more
Beauty and love at their most creative and strangest form.
Vespertine was an emotion-clustered album for me, but not in a bad way. It made me feel a lot. Happy, nostalgic in a way, and at peace. I really enjoyed the production on here. It was so unique and creative, and also beautiful. And same with Björk's vocals. She sounded extraordinary on here, like on "Undo" or "Cocoon". Even though this isn't a perfect album in my opinion, it's one that is 100% ... read more
After 14 years of studio album silence. Swans would come back and start a new era of Swans, that being referred to as the Modern era of Swans, with help from a new lineup. And a new album, My Father Will Guide Me Up a Rope to the Sky. Personally, I feel like this was a perfectly fine return. Yeah, it's not their most exciting, and it's pretty ok for the most part. There were some cool moments on here. But I feel like this album was just Swans warming up, dusting off, and getting ... read more
billy woods has easily dropped the best and scariest hip-hop album I have heard all year.
GOLLIWOG is a scary yet interesting take on Abstract and Experimental Hip Hop. I love the jazz rap on here and how focused he sounded on the entire record. billy woods takes us to some very dark places in his mind across an 18-track, 52-minute-long album that feels like a museum in a way. A museum that holds dark memories from his past that have formed him to be the person he is today. This album is ... read more

The Money Store is the first studio album from the legendary, incredibly influential, my favorite band oat, and one of the most important experimental music outfits of the 2010s, Death Grips. Death Grips are an industrial and experimental hip hop trio formed in the early 2010s from ... read more
"Oh My Darling Don't Cry" goes so hard it's not even funny.
Run The Jewels 2 is the second studio album from the rap duo Run The Jewels. Which consists of two legends in the rap game, EL-P and Killer Mike. This album is ambitious, mean, and badass all the way through. But at some points, a little dry. This album starts off really strong. With "Jeopardy" and "Oh My Darling Don't Cry' going back to back. Two of my favourites off the entire record. But ... read more
a beautiful, rich, and gorgeous post-rock experience.
"Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven" is a 1-hour 27-minute post-rock and ambient album from the band "Godspeed You Black Emperor!". This was my first album from them, and I thought it was excellent. I love how focused and organized this thing sounds from start to finish. The intro of "Storm" and the halfway part of "Sleep" are just so damn amazing. I swear they visited heaven and got some ... read more
wait, wait, wait. I thought the album was enjoyable. I just wasn't obsessed with it.
I finally listened to Madvillainy by MF DOOM (Rest In Peace) and Madlib. Two legendary's in the rap game teamed up back in 2004 to drop this 22-track long bombshell. And its impact and influence are nothing short of iconic, but in my opinion, it's just not one of the best hip-hop albums ever. I mean, I did enjoy it, it just didn't connect with me like it did for everybody else. But I do like ... read more
"I'm very glad to be here with you tonight."
Oh wow.
Here it is, the Circle album, the album some people consider Swans greatest project ever.
Soundtracks for the Blind.
This wasn't an album, this was an experience, a f*cked up one in fact. This sh*t killed me, not even kill, it wrecked me. But oh my was it made well. Uggghhhhhhh this was such a weird and strange album. I haven't felt fear and discomfort with a record like this since Year of the Snitch or You won't ... read more
SWANS TS - TGM TRILOGY COMPLETED!!!!! LFGGGGGGGG!!!!!
I did not think I would be able to complete this trilogy, considering how long it is. But I am so happy I did try it because it was amazing. And it also introduced me to one of my favorite albums right now and maybe ever, To Be Kind. This trilogy was crazy, insane, emotional at some parts for me, and overall just a total mind f*ck. But let's talk about this album, the last one of the trilogy, their 2016 LP "The Glowing Man". ... read more
Pretty good, but not as good as the next album they would release. And at some points this album gets a little boring. Not that there was a bad song. But just a little dragged on at moments. But other than that. It was really good. The multi-use of instruments on here is insane. Like the blaring guitars on some tracks. And "A Piece of the Sky" was one of the coolest musical journeys I have been on in a while. But yeah, I really enjoyed it.
