To clarify I couldn't care less about the AI thing, it's a different type of AI to the one that's harmful and it was ethically trained by the artist herself. The music was just disappointing and didn't strike me in any way. Even the sound design is kinda lackluster, which is surprising for an artist like Imogen. Womp womp.
obviously not crumbling 2, but good for what it is; some nice tickly IDM. I'm a fiend for that stuff, so can't hate on it.
would've been fire while eating sour sweets if i didn't despise the texture of this type of gelatin. I like the texture in the music tho.
Favourites: Flying Glossy, iShove, Triarp
Cinema. I recommend listening with your daze as vanguarded as possible. Shoutout Post Modern. Shoutout Moira. Shoutout Monty. Now I gotta split tho, got some vanguards to be dazing. Peace.

Disquiet is an album that I was quite intimidated to dive into, but hoooly, how pleasantly surprised I was. The Necks are an old band, but they have most certainly still got it, perhaps more than ever. I can't say this record felt like any less than three hours, but despite only featuring a handful of musical ideas, it fills up the time better than many traditionally-structured albums do. Which is quite the feat.
I recommend listening to this blindly, and I may be a little rusty because I ... read more
I don't care about the rest of the album but Greener is genuinely so peak. I can't get enough of it fuck you Joe
Old review deleted cuz constant floods of comments arguing against banana man racism was rly annoying
Consistently catchy & painfully accurate.
Title track is one of the greatest queer anthems, and my personal alltime favourite punk song.
Trans world order, give them hell 🩵🩷🤍🩷🩵
Oh my god, okay. I sat through this whole thing.
I do not recommend it.
As much as I absolutely love P C III's music, find it beautiful and comforting, and embrace its numbing repetition; three full hours repeating a single musical idea is a bit too much even for me. Not every section is like this, but a handful of them are, and these ones tend to drive me just a LITTLE insane.
My other gripe with this project is that it's essentially just a glorified compilation; a great deal of ... read more
12 year old me loved this because I thought it was awesome and went hard.
17 year old me loves this because I think it's the pinnacle of 2010s cliché and musical camp.
My level of enjoyment remains the same :)
I love ur voice sm

I don't usually give out 0's, but the criteria for one is that it genuinely offends me or dampens my mood. and boy does this meet that criteria with added context
Fundamentally this is a great and special album with charming vocals and awesome instrumentation. But, reading over the lyrics again - this time knowing they were written about a minor that she manipulated and emotionally abused - completely ruins ... read more
So, so, sososo soooo much filler. His primary motivation while creating this was clearly just "I wanna make a 10 hour album." I mean sure, do what you want, but I've wasted my whole day lmao.
That being said, there is some great music on here. Just few and far between.
Favourite track: RBA / Capsule Cologne Maxell
Least favourite track: RBA / Maxell UD II-S 90. The screeching balloons in this one set off my sensory issues BAD

Absolutely fire as fuck in small doses, but does get a little tiring and homogenous with its unchanging emotional voice-cracky vocals and constant bombastic beats. Insane talent for such underground artists though, gotta give props and it's brilliant to see them get this much love and exposure. I see a bright future for these two.

"Maybe she can fix these issues on future releases."
Well, to my surprise... Yes!
honestly this does funny kawaii murder much better than most animegrind
So many good things about this album.
- Guitar tone 🤤
- Song making fun of incelcore
- Serious raw song about sexual trauma
- Her vocals are full of personality!
So many shitty things about this album.
- The stupid edgy writing that ruins every song apart from those two
- It's all quite overly blunt and simplified, which usually wouldn't bother me, but for some reason it does here
- Her vocals suck!
Bleh.
Maybe she can fix these issues on future releases.
I don't ever want to listen to Lady Godiva ever again. The sound alone of that sensory nightmare made my heart rate skyrocket, my muscles squeeze tightly and my stomach turn upside down.
That being said, it was fuckin awesome and so was the rest. It'll always baffle me how a label as huge as Verve Records heard this loud, raw, visceral, graphic, filthy fucking crime album as early as 1968 and said "yep, this is perfect to be consumed by the masses"

This is decent enough but all it does is make me wanna go listen to Sprain again
Also that ending was fucking hilarious bwoooooooomp pbfrrrrrt
This album's writing is phenomenal. A deep web of inner conflicts, self-loathing, inadequacy, love, hate, anger, violence, potent societal commentary. Extremely poetic stuff - perhaps about on par with Sunbather, and if not it's barely a scratch under - I hugely commend them for their efforts on this record lyrically, as well as George Clarke's deafening (spare me) vocal performances.
But what this lacks in comparison to their previous masterpiece is that, despite all the songs ... read more
I don't even care, this slaps. It's a perfect dynamic to fit the game between whimsical and creepy, and generally contains lots of fun and catchy tunes.
Your Reality is lyrically and instrumentally incredible. A perfect expression of Monika's emotions and the predicament she's in.
You can blame my love for this on my nostalgia for the game - and you'd be right - but who gives a shit! I rate based on enjoyment :)
...And even the remixes at the end are decent, I guess.
