I'm usually all for crazy ADHD-infused music. Hell, I give really high scores to 100 gecs and Vylet Pony - but this is a good example of it being done wrong. It's gone too haywire, to the point where it's just headache inducing. Everything is everywhere all of the time, and nothing sticks together. It's loud and confusing, comes in one ear and out the other.
I can still kinda see the vision, but it's just way too much for me personally.
Ah yes, I love taking the slightest bit of enjoyment out of a bored-sounding man saying edgy gore and sex buzzwords with only slight volume and little aggression in his unflattering Swedish accent, over sloppy instrumentals featuring shitty flat production, and the same mind-numbing riffs consisting of two power chords repeating for the entire 4-7 minutes of each song. Do I hear a hint of sarcasm?
Fuck, everything else is awesome, but I just can't stand those vocals. Don't get me wrong, I love high pitched screams, but I don't think he's really doin it right. He sounds squeaky, like a wee rubber duckie trying to do screams. Idk.
Nonetheless, the instrumentals are absolutely pummeling, great production & fantastic tones for each instrument, so it's a shame I can't really give this a higher rating. Purple says I'll warm up to the vocals eventually - I'm not so sure about that, but ... read more
The bliss of normality and routine. When things don't have to be complex. It's a short and rarely-occurring, but beatiful moment of peace. You may or may not have other things that you should be focusing on, but for now all that matters is your lovely pear.
What a great taste. Soft and juicy. Bit messy, but you don't mind. Once you've eaten it all, it's back to the chaos of the world. For now though, it's a lovely pear indeed.
This is an interesting case. The songs are stunningly beautiful and amazingly produced, and Shing's voice and his flow are fantastic. However, there is one HUGE problem with the album -
- the songs have NO variety whatsoever. They all have the exact same sound of boom-bap beats accompanied with orchestral instruments. And sure - it sounds amazing - but half an hour of it straight without a single switch honestly gets pretty boring. I can recognise how amazing these six tracks are, and if they ... read more
This album is really great sonically, but there are some glaring problems with it that sadly take my score down pretty drastically. First of all, it's really hard to pay attention to - nothing really grabs me that much, even though it features catchy melodies, plus quality production and instrumentation. Secondly, they do absolutely nothing to differentiate themselves from just being Beatles and Beach Boys clones. It's just far too glaringly obvious that they wear their influences right on ... read more
This would be a 60 and one of their best albums if the last track was a quarter of its length. But alas, it was a fantastic hour followed by a nice but rather disappointing 2 hours.

On first listen, I've already found an awkward and unconventional but nonetheless a very strong beauty lying within this album. It's like Ashley is right there, singing to you softly. It may not sound like singing, but the soul in his voice is ever present.
If your mind is open enough to read between the lines, you'll undoubtedly find your own value in this incredible piece. If not, then you'll just hear what is presented to you sonically, which you probably won't enjoy. It's up to you how ... read more
Just thought I'd do a small reimagining of the song in my modern sound, to honour its 1-year anniversary. I know it's scuffed as fuck, I don't really care. Happy birthday, my child.
Worst shit I've ever made, and probably ever will make. I doubt I'll ever stoop below this level.
Many of these were extra outtakes from the unfinished game soundtracks. Some were just me messing about aimlessly. One was an EATEOT wannabe. I'll let you figure out which ones are which.
Nonetheless, this is all my previously unreleased music that I made between the ages of 12 and 14. Enjoy, if you're tonedeaf enough to.
Fuck this biopic. But it's scored by Nick Cave & Warren Ellis. So.
i released my composition for music at school
made entirely in noteflight and sounds like shit, but it'll get a good mark
This should be boring. It's the most yawn-inducing (albeit really cool) combination of genres ever; that being ambient, new age, post-rock and progressive rock. Each song is basically just fifteen or more minutes of the same musical idea being mind-numbingly repeated. But despite all of this, by the end of the hour and six minutes, it just leaves me still wanting more of these lovely meandering soundscapes.

Out now! Just a wee 10 minute drone/ambient set, I think I did pretty well. My millionth thanks to @starrylands03 for having me in the festival, I'm honoured to have been featured among some of the other musicians on here :)

This album is very conflicting. VERY conflicting. It's overwhelming and difficult to rate. Very up-and-down in quality. But I will commend the person who made it, because I imagine it would have been INCREDIBLY difficult to make, especially in a software like Audacity (trust me, i know lol).
It isn't really that good, but I respect the effort, and hope that the creator can find the time to improve in their next efforts. I'll be listening to whatever comes next.

It's not that good obviously, but some of it is kinda funny. Especially Ugliest Girl on the Beach, that got a genuine chuckle out of me a couple times. Some of the songs were actually decent too (altho most of them are shit)
I believe Kyle is a talented guy, but definitely more so in comedy than he is in music. His videos without music are genuinely great, while this is proper below average. Get your shit together and try some standup
