Paul McCartney & Linda McCartney - Ram

Second best beatles solo album imo.

Japanese Breakfast - Jubilee

nice production.

Freddie Gibbs - Alfredo 2

Favorite: 1995, Lemon Pepper Steppers, Ensalada, Feeling,Shangri La, Lavish Habits, Gold Feet,
Great production and amazing rapping performance, every single song is fire, Freddie Gibbs and the Alchemist just never disappoint the audience. JID is my favorite feature on this album. a little better than Alfredo.

Edit: 80-->90 Liking more songs after multiple listens, aoty for now.

My Chemical Romance - The Black Parade

Favorite: Welcome to the Black Parade, Dead!
Some of these songs sound like ad music from my place, a little bit annoying. Overall, really consistent and well-produced, amazing album experience, definitely has the opera feeling, a little bit repetitive when I listened to the end, probably would be better if some songs were deleted. The guitars are mixed so well, listening to this is just so satisfying. In my opinion, there are multiple mid songs in the middle partlike teenagers, therefore it ... read more

Beach House - Bloom

Favorite:Myth, Lazuli, on the sea
Cocteau Twins better.

SOPHIE - OIL OF EVERY PEARL'S UN-INSIDES

Favorite: Faceshopping, Immaterial
The glitchy electric guitar fuses with the slimy watery texture, which has made this album very unique and amazing. Every song is so well produced and mixed that it feels just right. Immaterial is just the best-produced pop song of all time. A great record.

Kate Bush - Hounds of Love

Favorite: CloudBusting, the big sky, Waking the Witch, Jig of Life, Hello Earth
For some reason, this album doesn't connect with me like other art-pop album does. The vocal and instrumental performances are certainly top tier, but the atmosphere and melody just don't connect with me as one of the best albums of all time. However, there are certainly multiple tracks that I like very much, plus I feel like this is ahead of its time. In addition, it also influenced some of my favorite ... read more

Kendrick Lamar - untitled unmastered.

Favorite: 02, 08
The leftovers from two of the greatest rap albums of all time, GKMC and TPAB, also feel legendary. This album just showcases Kendrick's ability to produce greatness, even though these are inferior; they are still catchy, and the music is really engaging.

Kendrick Lamar - Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers
80

Favorite: United In Grief, Die Hard, Father Time
An album exploring multiple themes, accompanied by some of the best-produced beats. Although there are some skips, such as 'Purple Hearts,' the highlights are really good. Top 3 Kendrick for now.

Tyler, The Creator - Wolf

Favorite: IFHY, Answer
Not my favorite Tyler album, but not awful.

Sufjan Stevens - Carrie & Lowell
100

Favorite: Fourth of July, The only thing, Eugene, Death with Dignity
Such a consistent album with so many depressing and sad emotions, the guitar performance in too good for my ears for the entire album, Sufjan also has the best vocal performance on this album in my opinion. No skip at all, the only problem I can name is a little bit repetitive, but that's just a personal issue since sad songs are not my favorite type of song.

Sufjan Stevens - Illinois

Favorite: Concerning the UFO, Chicago, Predatory wasp.
The intricate instrumental and the beautiful vocal melodies are just so Sufjan. Almost a perfect album from start to finish, there are a few problems with sounds, and the claps for me are pretty bad, but overall the music and lyricism are peak.

Tori Amos - From the Choirgirl Hotel

Favorite: Spark
Spark took me to another planet, seriously one of my favorite songs of all time. THe entire album, although not as good as the first song, is consistent enough in terms of quality. Really good.

Tyler, The Creator - DON'T TAP THE GLASS
70

Favorite: Don't Tap That Glass/Tweakin'
Tyler showcase his versatility in this album, while reusing some of the sounds and production from Cherry Bomb and Flower boy. My first listen is really underwhelming, but after a few listens this album grow on me quite a bit, a top 5 album in Tyler's discography for me.

The Weeknd - Starboy

Favorite: I Feel It Coming
A pop album that is filled with mid and boring songs, no way anyone can listen to this from start to finish twice.

JACKBOYS - JACKBOYS 2
NR

No desire to listen to this after three tracks

Floating Points, Pharoah Sanders & The London Symphony Orchestra - Promises
90

Favorite: Movement 5, Movement 6
All 9 movements expanding from a single, simple hook is a difficult task to do. While Floating points was capable of mastering the minimalistic charm of jazz and classical music, pharaoh Sanders provides his best performances to support the music. Pure enjoyment to listen to.

Perfume Genius - Glory

Favorite: Clean Heart
I really love the acoustic direction Perfume Genius approaches; however, the vocal performance just doesn't quite connect to me in the same way as this chill and peaceful feeling. The production is quite good, but sometimes it feels messy, like the track' Dion'.

Freddie Gibbs & The Alchemist - Alfredo
90

Favorite: 1985, GOd is Perfect, Scottie Beam, Something to rap about, Skinny Suge
After listening to this, I am so excited for Alfredo 2. Freddie's rapping performance just never disappoints me, and the Madlib production is just flawless.
Edit: After a few listens, this grows on me a lot. Alchemist's production on this is just so subtle and emotional.

Natalia Lafourcade - Cancionera
85

Favorite: Cancionera, Cariñito de Acapulco, Lagrimas Cancioneras
As a non-Spanish speaker, this album is one of the best representations of how lyrics are just a support to the music. The music itself in this album is just way too beautiful to be described by words. Natalia maintains the quality of her last album and has made an equally good one this year.
