I have to get Apple Music to listen to this whole album. The production on this album is so unique, the spacey atmosphere and the sci-fi vibe on most songs is satisfying to listen to, and it is so well produced. Most of the songs have insanely catchy hook, but the quality of the second half of the album sort of fall off, and the production becomes repetitive. Overall, the first half is stellar, second half is good.

Every single track hits me deep, listening to the blend of gansta theme and the more emotional type of production is a roller coaster experience. Every feature fits perfectly with the song and their verse are great.

A classic and emotional album, nothing new to say.

How is the album cover somehow good and bad at the same time? The entire album is GOAT level lyricism and rapping performance. Mos Def's word play and ability to rap so smoothly are overwhelming.

Lauryn Hill's ability to perform a song is just so unique and beautiful imo, every song on here is consistently good with an angelic voice and top-notch neo-soul production. In addition, I usually wouldn't like the skits at the end of almost every song, but they feel nostalgic and real, reminding me of school time. The only problem with this album is that it's too ... read more

Madlib's production just never gets old, Freddie and Madlib's collaboration is destined to be great, and this album is no exception. Great album.

The live instrumentation adds significantly to the atmosphere and cohesiveness of the music on this album. There are way too many beautiful and amazing songs on this album that it should be illegal to put them in one album. This album is crazily good and underrated.

I always thought Jay-z's the most overrated rapper of all time because of my peers, but after listening to only The Blueprint and Reasonable Doubt, he's certainly one of the greatest ever. Jay-z's rapping is so satisfying to listen to, and the beats are well-produced. The first half of the album is one of the greatest series of songs ever, but some ... read more

Every song is performed perfectly, Big L's rapping and rhyming is on another level. The lyricism is very hardcore and intriguing, and the jazzy beat is well-produced. ALthough it sounds a bit old, the production and rapping is ahead of its time, and is still interesting to listen now, Great.

This album is so atmospheric; listening to this is like watching a movie, especially the story in the skits. Some samples and singing are top tier for hip-hop albums. This and Liquid Swords are the top Wu-Tang solo albums.

Nas' ability to rap just never gets old. The beats are so colorful, there are so many beat switches and an insane amount of soul samples that keep me engaged. I've heard 4 Nas albums and none of them have a single miss. I really enjoy this.

There are certainly a lot of bangers on this album, but this is just too long for my liking, 50's flow is just getting boring towards the end for me, probably becasuse I don't like his voice. Every Dr. Dre's production is fire as always, but most of the song is too commerically made imo. Nice album to play on aux, not gonna casually listen to this.

Every person's rapping is indeed smooth like butter, their delivery is clean, as an ESL speaker, I can clearly hear every syllable, and Q-Tip's producing the entire album is crazy to me. The jazzy beat and some of the themes on this album are so ahead of their time, the fact that this was made in 1991 is insane. The only problem I have is probably the delivery on this album feels too flat for ... read more

I've heard three Nas albums so far, and it's crazy to me that there haven't been Any Bad Songs, and I just know there are more classics I haven't heard from him. There are multiple all-time classic songs on the album, but the overall quality of Stillmatic just doesn't match Illmatic and It was written. I still enjoy this, though.

The tribal atmosphere on this album appeals to me a lot, and their vocals when singing are also really interesting. There are so many all-time classic songs on this album; for me, it is one of the best collab hip-hop albums of all time. It's also the first time I've heard Talib Kweli rapping, and he's rapping skills are nothing less than Mos Def's verse. I love this a lot.

Best Kanye album period. This album is a collection of some of the most creative and interesting hip-hop songs ever. The theme about growing up in Chicago with topics like working out, dropping out of college etc. is so ahead of its time. His production is so unique to a point that you know its his song even if you never heard it. THis album is much more emotional when you ... read more
