David Bowie - ★ [Blackstar]
95

Favorite: Blackstar, Lazarus, Girl Loves Me, I can't give everything away
Bowie's second-best work, a really dark and emotional album, considering his death two days after the release. It is so unbelievable that Bowie could still create such an amazing album after more than 40 years of career. His voice and writings, and modern production fit perfectly.

Elton John - Goodbye Yellow Brick Road

Favorite: Funeral for a friend, Goodby yellow brick road, jamaica jerk off, grey seal.
Elton's best album and one of the best piano rock albums of all time. The only problem with this album is the inconsistency and the quality drop towards the middle part of the album.

Billy Joel - The Stranger

Favorite: Movin' Out, Just the way you are, Scenes from an italian restaurant, vienna, only the good die young, she's always a woman
Piano rock is my favorite genre. The stranger, containing 9 amazing songs, is one of my favorite albums of all time. Billy Joel has mastered writing melodies with piano, and created THE BEST piano rock album imo.

Edit: 95->100, every song is perfect, including one of the greatest songs of all time, Scenes from an Italian Restaurant, no reason not to ... read more

Natalia Lafourcade - De Todas las Flores

Favorite: De todas las flores
Every track is so beautifully made, and the use of traditional instruments is splendid. The writing is better than the latest album she made, but the quality is really close.

Favorite: Smells like teen spirit, In Bloom, Come as you are, Stay Away, Something in the way
One of the most overrated albums of all time imo, there are a lot of bangers but a bunch of mid songs as well. The mixing and instrumental performance are great, especially the drums, but the writing becomes less creative, and there are some skips towards the end of the album. Since the production is top-notch and the performances are great, it is not a bad album, it's just not one of the best oat ... read more

Nirvana - In Utero
90

Favorite: Heart-Shaped Box, Very Ape, Radio Friendly unit shifter, All Apologies
I wasn't a big fan of Nirvana after hearing Nevermind, but I kind of changed my mind after listening to this. Although the mixing is more raw and the vocal performance is harsher, this album felt more diverse and interesting to me. Plus, I prefer the vocals on this one.

LCD Soundsystem - This Is Happening
90

Favorite: Dance Yrself CLean, One Touch, I can CHange, Home
This album perfectly implements the 80s sounds into the danceable beats every song has. A lot of the tracks remind me of Gorillaz and Depech Mode(Somehow, Violator is also 9 tracks long), and I love them. The only skip on this album is the 8th track, the synth sounds too loud and repetitive, all the other tracks are fire.

Drake & 21 Savage - Her Loss

Favorite: Rich Flex, Pussy&Millions, Broke Boys
Nothing creative in the entire album; almost every beat sounds the same. Circo Loco is the worst sample work ever. Travis' feature is decent, though.

Justin Bieber - My World 2.0

Favorite: Baby
When the best song on an album is an extremely overplayed teenage pop song, you know it is not a good album.

Linkin Park - Meteora
70

Favorite: Somewhere I Belong, Breaking the Habit
The album feels too consistent, and the sounds have just aged a lot. No tracks stand out, and I don't really like his voice.

Quadeca - Vanisher, Horizon Scraper
85

Favorite: MONDAY, Dancing without moving, Thunder, Forgone, Casper
The entire album sounds really consistent, but the instrumental is so complicated to a point that it becomes a little messy for me. Every song is so vibey and conceptual, and the instrumental is just otherworldly. Some tracks remind me of Tyler for some reason. I can see how it is a great album, but not really aoty for me.

Kendrick Lamar - To Pimp a Butterfly
100

Favorite: Wesley's Theory, King kunta, These Walls, Momma, i, Mortal Man, How much a dollar cost
The greatest album of all time deserves. Perfect instrumental work and lyricism and a perfect concept, lawless from start to finish. In addition, the replay value is super high, the storytelling of every song connects so well.

underscores - Wallsocket

Favorite: Locals(Girls like us), Old money bitch
I could hear a lot of influences from different pop and rock artists on this album. There are some catchy moments, but for the most part, the songs are becoming predictable, and the beats and performance are somewhat standard. Maybe this album is just not what I like.

Travis Scott - Rodeo

Favorite: 3500, 90210, Antidote
The best trap album I've heard, featuring some of the best autotune effects on Travis' voice. Most of Travis's best songs are in this album, but there are also some lows. overall decent album.

Death Grips - Bottomless Pit

Favoriete: Hot Head, Warping, Bubbles, Buried in this jungle, Ring a bell
Bangers after bangers.

Charli xcx - how i'm feeling now

Favorite: claws, anthems, visions
My introduction to hyperpop. There are some catchy moments and overall amazing glitch and electric pop music.

Black Country, New Road - Ants From Up There

Favorite: Chaos Space Marine, Haldern, Mark's Theme, The Place Where He Inserted the blade, Basketball Shoes,
can't believe it took me this long to realize the greatness of this album, and yet I feel like I haven't captured the entirety of its greatness, so much emotion and skill pouring into my ears. The fact that Isaac left the group makes it even more emotional. Can't wait to see their concert.

Madvillain - Madvillainy

Favorite: Meat Grinder, Rainbows, Figaro, All Caps
Classic. perfect production and lyricism.

Kendrick Lamar - GNX

MF DOOM - MM..FOOD
