Favorite: I ain't no joke, I know you got soul, Paid in full,
One of the most influential hiphop album while maintaining certain amount of replay value. The production on this album is so ahead of its time, it is less dated than Straight outta compton for me. good.
Favorite: ATLiens, Wheelz of Steel, Jazzy Belle, Babylon, Millennium, 13th Floor,
First Outkast album ever listened to in full, love it. Every song has an insanely catchy hook and crazy rapping performances from Andre 300 and Big Boi. Most of the beats are so good that it is hard to believe that they produced most of them. The concept of all of these songs is really thought-provoking and ahead of its time.
Favorite: Brooklyn Zoo, Raw Hide, Protect Ya Neck ii, Harlem World.
ODB's style is certainly unique and more humorous compared to other 90s rappers, but his rapping performance and most of the beats on this album aren't my favorite. There are way fewer songs I enjoy on this album compared to other 90s hip-hop albums. Overall, this album is too wild for me, and I respect the lyrical content, but the beat is too mediocre. Pretty disappointing album tbh.
Favorite: Iron Maiden, 260, Winter Warz, fish, Daytona 500, All that I got is you
A little more enjoyable than Supreme Clientele imo. Amazing
Favorite:Kool on, The otherside, lighthouse, tip the scale
A more interesting album than things fall apart, but I still prefer that album more than this one both sonically and lyricallly, considering TFA is one of the best hip hop album, this is still amazing. It is amazing that they could create multiple masterpieces over the span of two decades, certainly one of my favorite hip hop groups ever.
Favorite: Glory, Of Blues, for Keeps
This album starts strong and ends equally good. A great album but no where near the quality of TFS. The production isn’t as perfectly done as his previous album, and the song structure is a little messy on this album. But overall still a great listen.
Favorite: Holy Ghost, LSD, Lord Pretty Flacko, JukeBox Joints, back home
A really interesting album for me; every song is unique, yet cohesive in its atmospheric quality. The second half of the album has slightly fallen off compared to the first half. I'm not a big fan of trap music, but this album is decent.
Favorite: Straight Outta Compton, F tha Polic, Gangsta Gangsta
I can feel how mindblowing this is when it was first released in 1988. Good production and content, can't say most of the song is still replayable today, but overall decent.
Favorite: Doo Rags, My Way, Blaze a 50. Purple, Drunk by myself.
This is a compilation that is quite consistent and feels like an album. There are only 12 tracks, it is concise, full of bangers, amazing.
Favorite: Beware, Super Lyrical, Dream Shatterer, You ain't a killer, I'm Not a player, Twinz, Boomerang
This album is pure violence and gangsta, all the skits and Big Pun's perfect flow remind me of Ready to Die from Biggie. There is not a single bad rapping performance on this entire album, not even mediocre ones. Great.
Favorite: Dance Now, Can't Punk Me, Kody Blu31, Sistanem, stars, Lauder Too.
Revisiting the forever story before listening to the new JID album. This is a classic, and no more needs to be said.
Favorite: Thief, Only, free, Enough, Lotus, Blue
I really enjoyed SIMBI, especially Little Simz's nonchalant voice and spectacular instrumental, and it is almost impossible to match the quality of SIMBI imo. Lotus has almost what I was hoping for on her album, but what this lacks is the intricacy of the melody, and ultimately, the production is good, but not on her prime level.
Favorite: December 4th, What more can I Say, Encore, Dirt off your shoulder, Threat, Moment of Clarity, 99 Problems, My 1st Song
Jay-z always manages to choose the most elite and the grandest beats ever, and performs great rap verses to them. This album leans towards the pop genre a little more than Reasonable Doubts, but I still enjoy the catchy beats even though they are more predictable. This is probably his most consistent album, absolutely no bad songs, and it is really enjoyable listening ... read more
Favorite: Nutmeg, One, Apollo Kids, Mighty healthy, We made it, Wu Banga
One of the more interesting and unique Wu-Tang solo albums in terms of lyricism for sure. One thing I don't understand about this album is that most of the time, the 1minute song or interlude sounds so good, but the more than one beat on the actual song next to them is a lot worse. I understand that this is a lyrically dense album and the lyrics are certainly top-notch, but there are too many low points in terms of ... read more

Favorite: Steve Biko, Award Tour, Midnight, Electric Relaxation, Oh my god, Keep it Rollin'
I'm not sure why I dislike their voice; the jazz production and lyricism are all great, but I can't connect with the way they deliver the bars and the people who praise this as top 10 hip-hop ever. In addition, the choruses are pretty bad, there are fewer memorable melody on this album than forgettable ones. Yet, the album is consistent and good overall, so I like it, but it isn't as ... read more

Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre are always the most fitting duo ever in hip-hop history. I just love the West Coast hiphop G-funk production, feel like that's the music I grew up with. Snoop's rapping is so effortless and good at the same time. One of the best aux albums to chill and vibe with imo. I feel like this is slightly better than Chronic in terms of production and replay value. Awesome.
