This album sounds a lot more evil and a lot different from KC's debut album. Yet, they were able to create such perfection while making differences. This album also reminds me of a lot of rock artist afterwards. I do think Starless is one of their best songs I've heard so far, but the entire album feels less well-made than their debut, still an awesome album.
Favorite: Pink Moon, Place to be, Which Will, Things behind the sun, Parasite
I really enjoy a few tracks on this album, but the album as a whole isn't as enjoyable for me. I feel like the quality is pretty inconsistent, while the instrumental feels repetitive in the second half. But the amazing tracks are way too good so it is still great.

I always thought this album was carried by the title track, but after listening to the entire album from start to finish, I realize that every song is as good as the first one. The only problem this album has is that it is a little bit too short. Insane album.
Favorite: The queen is dead, Frankly, mr. shankly, Bigmouth straikes again, There is a light that never goes out
Few awesome and all-time great songs, overall not as amazing.

Perfect indie album, doesn't connect with me as much as Neutral milk hotel, especially the middle part of the album. Still and incredibly emotional album.
Favorite: Plainsong, Picutres of you, Lovesong, lullaby, Disintegration
Amazing vocal performance and production style, though the second half falls off a little bit in terms of its musicality, still an awesome album.
Favorite: Capricorn, Connect, Mary Boone
The instrumental is so lush and creative, it reminds me of a less cohesive BCNR. The production is absolutely incredible, Great album.

Every single song is amazingly produced and written, incredible album.

Amazing album that blends neo-soul with rapping, very consistent as well.

The soul sample on this album is really appealing, all 10 tracks have great beats and Jay-Z definitely devotes a lot of emotion into his delivery. Certainly one of Jay-Z's best albums, and a great comeback album, not a single bad song.

The album is entertaining, and every track is rich in detail; the sample work is also remarkably ahead of its time. I love the inclusion of a lot of Beatles samples on this album, and it is satisfying to recognize the samples and understand the lyrical references by myself. I usually don't like to go back to hip-hop albums before 90s, but this one is so ... read more

I appreciate Ghostface's approach to shorter songs on this 22-song album, which makes individual songs less repetitive. I know Ghostface is known for epic storytelling and lyricism on Supreme Clientele, and this follow-up is no exception. I can feel the effort put into this album from the production and writing; there are diverse beats and lines, the concept is ... read more

This album is my introduction to Hardcore Punk, so I have nothing to compare it with. The production and vocal reminds me of Geordie Greep's latest album, and I loved it. I somehow get a little Beatles vibe in the middle section of this album, I feel like Dead Kennedys is a crazier version of the Beatles. the album is amazing.

I don't know what people are on about, but this is nowhere near the level of AFUT. Don't get me wrong, I still think this is an amazing album, but AFUT is in the GOAT tier of indie/artrock. This album lacks diversity, mindblowing emotional journey, and uniqueness compare to AFUT. Yet this album is well produced, well-performed, and pleasant to listen to. It serves more as a music to chill with rather than ... read more

Experimental + Hip-hop, there is no way I would have liked this album a year ago. However, after listening to more rock and hip-hop albums, I start to appreciate the experimental aspect of this album, and now, every beat hits hard to me, and it is perfectly blended with Danny's crazy voice and rapping performances, and this applies to every ... read more
