Basically the quintessential guitar solo album... and it's fucking awesome

Probably one of my favorite albums of all time. The Squirming Coil is a perfect opener with an adventurous and innocent tone, and has a really interesting song structure. Reba is one of the best on the album featuring a catchy melody in the beginning and fading into a super vibey guitar solo. Split Open and Melt is probably one of the best SONGS ever. Slowly becoming one of my favorite albums of all time. Originally I gave it a 6/10 but the more you listen to it, the more you crave the rich bass and sludgy bass and guitar solos in this. There's absolutely nothing that sounds as unique as this album. Truly a masterpiece, but probably has to be listened to many times to be truly appreciated.
